Barrow's 1st try past our non-existent right hand defence, and the 3rd try where 4 of our defenders were on to the Barrow player - and he still got the ball away, were absolutely dreadful. You guys are reading far too much into those comments I think. When MD says things happening behind the scenes he probably means the players like Fleming being unhappy and being moved on. Unhappy players in the squad are bound to lower morale.

Starting rumours on here about financial issues will only make things worse, and unless someone can point me towards some actual evidence of this being the case, I suggest we pack it in now. I expect better from some of the people on here.

Not heard anything and I would expect non-payment of bills to be public very quickly and there's been none of that yet. But MD's comments were concerning, there's no denying that.

In all honesty I think it's more MD trying to look for excuses for the players. He's early in his tenure as coach and probably isn't wanting to throw the players under the bus already, so lines like "there's lots going on behind the scenes" is probably just convenient lines to hide behind and try protect the players a little.

It's not as if this team has just fallen off the edge of the cliff, they've been weak all year (Fax, Sheffield, Barrow etc)

Being fair, we have a 5th/6th place playing budget and are sticking to it. This is what cutting our cloth looks like. I’m not enjoying it at the moment though as we are seriously underperforming. From memory though, the accounts are due I think? But we got lucky with the first year of covid as we had no stadium to pay for and furlough took care of wages so I expect the books for 20/21 to look ok.

You talk about what players you want rid of and we'll discuss the implications of nobody in the ground + no budget for next year if that's OK.

The Bulls are probably the only RL club in the world where a string of poor results and one sentence in the coaches post match interview has the fans immediately expecting the club to go bust.

Wonder why that is?

The tendency for Bulls fans to catastrophize has much deeper routes than just recent poor results and cryptic comments. When you consider our sustained financial mismanagement over many years, and all the false dawns then its surely entirely natural to worry. I also think its valid to say that we often started to realise something was going wrong behind the scenes when the players stopped playing. Of course every one of us hopes there's no link at all this time. But we've all been through the mill a few times and I can't really blame people for thinking, or worrying, that there may be more to it.

Not all. Everyone is entitled to opinion. We all have views on what we see every week. Some we agee with and some we dont. Thats part of being a fan. We dont all see things the same way.


What i do have an issue with is unsubstantiated fake news based on absoluet zero evidence.

Nobody is trying to peddle “fake news”. People have concerns with the coach talking about issues behind the scenes given our recent history.

Maybe the coach should be more careful with his comments?
