That Michael Platt was one of Bradford's best players today.

Deacon should have been dropped, again his kicking was predictable, he was too slow and missed several important tackles.

I got the impression from the radio that he was poor today?

Wooooaaahhhh fella.... the worst 2 clubs in SL are Celtic and Catalans as it stands.

There ain't no disgrace losing to Salford at the moment... we're playing well and winning. 6 wins in 9 games is a pretty good record... and not many will win at the KC, Headingley and Galpharm all in the same season.

Because he is constantly used as a scapegoat. Sheriffe was pi$$ poor, as was Deacon. Menzies made a few Handling errors and most of the forwards were quiet.

The only players who played well and/or looked like they were putting effort in were:

Platt
Newton
Lynch
Sykes
Halley

We really need Morrison back, that team looked so inexperienced even though it had Lynch, Newton, Menzies, etc. Deacon needs to be dropped and Morro as captain when he's back.

I'd add Rinaldi to that list, and add a caution that Halley whilst put in effort also missed one or two crucial tackles.

Probably one of the most depressing games I've been too, not because of the defeat or the way in which it happened but because the reality hit me that this was an average performance from the side this year. Nice to see a fair few fans there too, not packed out but more than I expected.

Also when people used to say things (in our pomp) like "It won't matter if we lost every game all season as long as we beat Leeds/Saints" - that's coming true now and it's not as sweet as you might imagine

Isn't he just! Everyone makes mistakes, especially in our current squad, but Platty seems to be the only player who gets a barrage of abuse from our 'supporters', shocking!

What is happening at bradford Bulls? You have gone from being a Super League force to being beaten by Celtic and now Salford. From an outsider looking in it seems to me that the players you have signed are not good enough and your big named players are playing with no confidence.

Platt did alright today, nothing exceptional but he saved a couple of tries. He perhaps could have made a better attempted tackle when racing back to try stop their 3rd? try. But it certainly wasn't his fault that they scored, the poor defending by our threequarters led to the break.

As a Hull FC fan, I would challenge that statement.

The mistake where he didn't pick up the ball to prevent their 40/20 could have been a biggie, luckily Salford didn't score from that.

Don't want to bag him too much, he played ok, but worth pointing out.

I've come to the conclusion that af is in fact an ubber wind up merchant. This is because it's the only way i can reason for his continuing backing of McNamara.

Are you a bit dim or what, do you think no-one had worked that out? Just as likely that the Crusaders will thump them.

As for the match itself, I can't really be bothered to go into too much detail but it was pretty depressing. Our attack was dull and lifeless and our defence was hot and cold.

We are carrying too many passengers at the moment and surely if McNamara is in charge for Wakefield he will drop some players? What has happened to Deacon? He looks well past his best and despite being a good player for us over the years, he needs dropping.

Plenty of other poor performers today though and the fired up performance we all wanted, once again never materialised. It is really hard to see how McNamara is going to turn this mess around and my confidence in him is the lowest it has been.

Some players need to pull their head out of their own backside and show some bloody fight.

Yes, fair point.. he obviously didn't hear the call but he should be watching and not relying on a call. But like you say, other than that he did alright.
