Re the "Time Lords" at the RFL buying the lease at Odsal, I think you will find they bought the Stadium and the lease is still council owned until 2019? That being the case more fireworks should be expected in 2019? When the roadworks on the A650 should also be finished, and Wakefield will be twinned with Cas. at their new stadium on the M62!

Think that could be the line up, apart from Blythe or Ryan will be selected ahead of Walshaw. Was really disappointed with Blythe last week. I would put Walshaw ahead of him, but i don't think it will happen.

Forgot about Ryan in fairness, not sure about Blythe he really seems to have slipped away not sure about his future with us due to new recruits.

Absolutey gutted Mullaney is missing!! If Siejka is selected he has to step up big time. Clare will be full back. Surprised Baile is included in such a big game when he's not played for two month and we have plenty of similar options to him.

Seems bizarre not to include shaw or mendeika for FB. Has Clare actually played there much in past?. Or are we being really different and going addy sjelka in halves and Gaskell FB?.

Shame Mullaney isn't playing but I thought he was quiet last week.

Swapping Siejka and Addy at this point is too big a risk at this stage. Addy's getting some confidence in that position. Putting Siejka in there might upset the apple cart.

Don't know but he looked alright when he switched there on Sunday (I appreciate that 20 minutes there against an already beaten semi pro champ side is not 80 minutes against a superleague side).

Think Clare is a generally higher quality player, so from that list he's my fullback. Neither Shaw nor Mendeika have have looked overly solid at the back except in rare patches. Despite what many of us think, JL seems quite happy with Siejka, so I guess he's back in the halves. Against his old club it would be just the game to set the record straight..

There's no way Jimmy will be dropping or moving Addy after the game he had last week and the amount of praise Jimmy gave him after the match. I think the Siejka inclusion is just mind games.

If Mullaney had been playing I think we could have snuck this one, but can't see us winning with that squad. Purtell and Blythe both had shocking missed tackle percentages from last week's game and yet they are both still in the squad. Any attack down Purtell's side of the pitch will cause us trouble.

I hope not, putting Seijka in there now is madness, Addy has been playing well there, if he does and its costs us he wont be forgiven anytime soon.

Seijka shouldnt be any part of the 8's hes hardly played and when he has hes been no better than addy, same with Baile think hes had his last game now.

wonder if there's injuries in squad we aren't aware of?. seems to be some really odd omissions and inclusions in squad announced if everyones fit bar mullaney.

Addy was excellent against Sheffield and with the praise Lowes heaped on him, I just can't see him being moved from Scrum-Half. If Lowes does move Addy to accommodate Siejka, then it would probably mean moving him to LF, which would mean Pitts would have to move, and so on. It was a good performance last week and I would change as little as possible. Obviously, the injury to Mullaney has forced us into a change, but I expected Nielsen to come in for Henry anyway.

So, Caro and Nielsen in for Mullaney and Henry. Baile and Siejka to miss out on being in the 17.

I really hope not. Gaskell is a very good player, but he is not a full-back. Clare looked solid enough there in the last 20 minutes against Sheffield so he'd be my first choice for this one.

Don't know, Jimmy has always backed Siejka, I think he'll start and move Addy to 13. It would be a gamble and I'm with Broadybull, if it doesn't pay off and Siejka has another annonymius performance, and we miss out on promotion, I don't think Siejka or Lowes will be forgiven. This match is that crucial.

Wakey's squad doesn't worry me. We have the better back line, and have far more speed than them.
Discipline will win us this match and I hope Lowes is hammering that message home in training. Wakey don't have anyone who can go full length, and by all accounts their kicking game has been poor. But if we start piggy backing them down field and giving them sets on our line, that's when Tim Smith excels and could really hurt us. Keep them at their end of the field, Smith is limited in what he can do.

Also can't see Lowes picking Gaskell at FB as he has never ever picked him there in the entire time he has been coach. Clare will be FB with Caro and Williams on wings.
