I'm going for a birthday curry on thursday after the game along with some of the behind the tunnel people. After much deliberation we're going to the Karachi. I've booked for 10-30-11pm and if anyone wants to join us they would be more than welcome.
Similarly if you're planning a curry that evening and want to avoid me you know where I'll be.
And no I'm not going to tell you how old I am. It's too depressing

It was a top notch curry at the Karachi. I went for the Rick Stien lamb and spinach thing with a garlic naan and mushroom pakora.
Very very nice. Moist but not greasy and not so spicy that you can't taste any of the other ingredients. The pakora were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside just as they are supposed to be.

I'd never been there before but I'm definitely going again.

Yes, do it. I'm pretty disappointed that I managed to spend four days in Bradford without going for a Karachi. However, a visit to the Punjab Sweet Centre on Legrams Lane was not bad. I thought the main course a little bland, but that may have had something to do with the chapple kebabs I had as a starter. Yum yum!

The Chapple Kebabs there are excellent Shag. However, if you want to actually taste your main course, they aren't exactly a wise choice for a starter. Went to the Kashmir on Thursday night and it was excellent again, so ner to Bullseye

A littl bird telled me that the Harry Ramsdens at Guiseley is being turned into one of them Agrer places. I know Agrers are not so bad as far as there sort of places but their taking over from proper English places and it stinks.

I had the whitey-ist curry experience of my life in a place called Curry Lounge on Parliament Street in Nottingham last Thursday.

The food was overpriced, served in a gourmet, pretentious style and the menu included items like a "Cheese and Chilli Naan", I had a plane to catch early the next morning so I went for a nice mild dall dish and it landed on my table looking more like a work of art than a food dish.

Only when we were leaving did we realise the place had a curry apartheid system going on, and there was another room seemingly for those with darker skin, which had no cutlery laid out on the table and more than likely a different menu.

Overpriced fish and chips or a lovely Lamb Karahi? Hmm,let me think!

Called for a truly authentic curry at the sweet on lumb lane yesterday...3 starters, 3 main courses, 2 cokes,6 poppadoms, tons of salad, £20.
You guys really must try this place.

It did, I was only in there against my will, I just didn't realise how horrendous it might be.

I didn't pay though, so I can't be too upset.

Been to the Punjab Sweet House on Listerhills Rd twice this week... on Wednesday and Saturday night.
