Sounds like he was at it again on the side line from the radio commentary

Beaumont was an absolute disgrace today. Had the misfortune to sit near him and was shocked at his appalling behaviour. 'Buffoon' could not be a more accurate description. At least he was the most entertaining of the Leigh bunch.

He wouldn't even fit through the turnstiles anyway

and he is a drunk and a bell end to boot

The man is both good and bad for Leigh?
On the good side he has the loyalty that has made them a creditable club, with a good coach who has instilled a brand of Rugby that is watchable and at times what our game is about, the drawn game at Odsal was an absolute cracker of a game played with flair and passion by both sides, without Leigh resorting to the behaviour that has earned them the poor reputation throughout the Championship. That to me is the bad side of DB coming out in the win at all costs, no matter what!
He is a self publicist who doesn't care what effect his bad behaviour, has on his club, it's coach or his players! Would he ever think his attitude and boorishness is in some ways responsible for his club's performances over the middle 8s??

I've read on social media that he is taking a step back from Leigh due to other commitments. Anyone else heard owt?

So the T&A reported he banned Marc Green - and also tried & failed to ban staff members & the radio team (BCB).

Which staff members did he try to ban? and I assume the RFL told him where to go?

Why would you assume that the RFL would have got involved? And anyway, you'd have to define "involved". At best, they might put it in AOB in some darkened room in 2097 and never publish the outcome. What was it that Huddersfield got for lying to the RFL's investigator, again?

Well, the only two possibilities for failing to ban a community radio team from commentating on the game I can think of would be that his own chairman or coach talked some sense into Derek, or the RFL gave an ultimatum. Unless there's someone else that the owner listens to on rugby matters? But it didn't work in the end and the "off-field" stuff is now something for Leigh to consider discussing in their end of season review I suppose. But that's their problem.
