Personally I would have had no qualms if the Bulls had signed Mason . I think he is currently a better prop than Sidlow whatever the stats say (lies damn lies and statistics). However at 30 it's unlikely Mason will improve whereas at 25 Sidlow has the time and potential to become a better player. Incidentally I think I might just pop down to Wheldon Road when Cas play the Giants-- it could be tasty if Martin Sadler's account of what happened on the Giants Mad Monday is to be believed.
