and took out BK & Hargreaves (as the 2 players I thought most needed a rest). I totally forgot about Koppy - he needs to be in.

Basically we only have 16 uninjured players with SL level experience. I think we give a couple who have been ever - present this season a rest (Disko unfortunately as the only hooker doesn't get this option) and make up the rest of the 17 with 3 u20's guys.

I am confident that a front row of Manase, Disko & koppy should be able to make a lot of hard yards against pretty much anyone.

you noticed that too. main tactic seemed to be get it to the no5 and hope for the best. cant see them getting as much joy with that tactic against SL opposition.
dont think they will be the walkovers some people some to think but even with injuries we should have enough in tank to win.

Every player should want to play every match. This thought of giving some a rest because they have played too much lately is nonsense and not only that disrespectful to the opposition.
We should be playing our strongest team possible providing they are fully fit.

I am sure MP will put out a strong team considering the injury situation we have, I just hope we can get at least 6-7k supporters there.

Red - I beleive you watch more academy/u'20's games (or whatever it is now) than most posters on here - who would you say would be worthy of a run out given it probably makes sense to "rest" those players with slight knocks.

Rossi Windley Bailey according to the tna, Rossi on wing Windley half back Bailey 2nd row, all impressed so far this season - and I do recall previous posts about Callum Windleys potential. So like for like where theres shortages, other than Bailey.

Long season, we've a lot of injuries, where is the nonsense in resting players? There are plenty of posts asking why we have so many injuries, this an opportunity to give some players (probably playing with knocks) a well earned rest

They probably do want to play but thats the coaches decision. Would I bring in 3 debutants? maybe not. Am I looking forward to seeing these guys, certainly !

I think that's true. Is it stronger to put a first team squad forward on the wing or in the halves, for no other reason than he's got a squad number? I'd go for the guy from the juniors if he's playing well in that environment to be honest. I'm not even sure we've got any more first team squad players available anyway.

Cooke is out for Doncaster, one less threat to deal with. Would like to have seen if he can still play against SL oppo though.
