Personally don't see why people are even dragging this up. Raynor has served time much more recently and people dont have a problem with him. IMO Baileys the type of niggly player that people hate when he plays for the opposition but love when he plays for them. Think tomkins,lowes,briers etc for other examples. Whether the penalties Bailey gains your team makes him a good signing is maybe debatable but comes down to personal opinion.

I do apologise for my earlier comment... It is my sole opinion about Bailey that I felt I could voice, I based my opinion on Bailey from incidents I myself have witnessed .. In fairness to him, since the Kevin Brown incident Brian Mac has had his ferocity channeled properly and controlled, something that was lacking under mcclennan... And the comment about Kevin Brown in response to mine was shocking and actually makes it easy to see why you would welcome the likes of Bailey... If he keeps himself controlled, great player, without that, a cowardly rat, again my opinion!

As I have said before, it ain't an anti-Bailey thing, it is an anti-Leeds thing. If Bailey played for Bradford he would be a fans favourite in no time. The type of player home fans love but opposing fans love to hate.

Kevin Brown feigned an injury. TMFMISL picked him up by the front of his shirt and was being quite amicable about it until 'Pencil-neck' decided to shove him. For this he received a slap. The 'Enforcer' that is Luke O'Donnell (guffaw) then ran 20 metres to join in and he too got a slap. Problem solved!

I always though HMYOI were prisons for young offenders. Whatever, he still did a stretch courtesy of the Queen IMO.

yes, HMYOI is a junior version of an HMP. whichever, the prison officers have a pretty decent ARL setup, with tours to Australia, so I am sure Ryan and Chev were given a welcome. and of course Sir Bernard became a PO.

I have a problem not with either Ryan or Chev, they paid the price, but Hetherington, when we were going to sign Bird, he came out with a load of **** about signing criminals (tho Bird had not actually been (wrongly) convicted) when he had Ryan and Chev in his team who had. Hypocrite.

Think he has kept his nose clean on the criminal activity front, he has just become the pretend big man mike Tyson wannabe on the rugby field! Shame he doesn't stick around long enough to be dealt with by the rugby lads gunning for him namely james graham.

Bailey is a decent SL Prop, when you look at his stats he makes few errors and doesn't miss many tackles. I expect he will sign a new deal with the Rhinos though.

Bailey is in the form of his life at the moment. Great determination and getting positive reviews as the best forward we've had this year.

If there was space under the cap and we could convince them then adding Bailey and Morrison to the side for 2012 would make us a much stronger team imo

Ryan Bailey is awesome. You can't have him because I'll cry like Nancy Kerrigan if he leaves Leeds.

He should definitely be in prison though. I mean, his one criminal misdemeanour (a fight outside a nightclub with another pro RL player) was only 9 years ago, and all fights outside nightclubs are punishable by at least 10 years in jail. Aren't they?



In fairness he likes to wind the opposition up, but these "cheap shots" we keep hearing about are a bit of a myth. He doesn't get in fights too often now, because you get sent off for that and he's grown a brain somewhere. He did lose the plot against Huddersfield at home, when believe me he didn't attempt to run anywhere when Luke O'Donnell got involved. A good prop should have a bit of biff every so often anyway.

Not that it matters, but James Graham vs TMFMISL? Don't make me laugh.
