As I already replied to Bulliac, I hadnt considered fact that his bulls deal wouldnt kick in until november. As such dont see how RFL can possibly refuse to give him same dispensation as all other crusaders players are going to benefit from.

Because although his contract does not take effect until 1/11, it was signed and dated this week and - we fear - before the RFL dispensation was announced. Given that the RFL have to approve all player contracts, I guess we must assume the document had been signed before the announcement?

hmm. just when I think theres a definitive answer one way, someone comes up with something that could reverse it. Think best way to look at it is that we won't get the result we want from RFL then anything else is a pleasant surprise.
