We're at home to Widnes on the following Thursday as well so that might have played a part.
Friday night will decimate our away support, but would still expect a few hundred away fans. |

Doesn't matter when they play it, it is always going to be a very modest crowd. Paying Cup games just are, only the semi finals get anything like. Agreed it will be a bit worse on Fri than it would have been on Sun but as said with games on Thu (Leigh) and Fri (us) it would make no sense to force such a rapid turnaround.

It's been like that for a few years now though. Funnily enough, just before reading your post, I had been wondering if the 'free' tickets given to season pass holders made any difference to attendances in the last round? I've not seen it mentioned anywhere. |
