In case of injury? Probably cover for FB, Centre and wing.

Cook could cover backs and pack. A better bet maybe?

Can't see him covering pack. Imagine a prop that runs sideways? Tbh if Halley keeps this form up I can't see Platt getting back at FB so he will have to slot in somewhere else if he is to get a game.

| Not gonna read all thread, but i thought it was a decent performance, much better than what has been the case most of the season.
Think the scoreline flattered Wire a bit.
Rinaldi bless him seemed to be trying a bit too hard at times.
Halley was immense at kick returns, and what else can you say about Menzies, he's just sheer class ( sheriffe had some great runs too ).
I don't wanna be negative but felt Deacon was bit poor and lost in parts again but he was trying.
Well done Bulls. If this is the kind of performance that becomes the norm then it should be a decent second half of season.

Mick Gledhill texted Radio Leeds twice. He never mentioned the ref once, so he must have been on Bulls side.

| Thought it was great team performance today - any coincidence that this happens when Morro is back in the team??
We still made a few basic errors but a whole lot less than a month or so ago. Hopefully now can push on from here.
Didn't think anyone was particularly bad and special mention I think must go to Whitehead. Didn't look out of place and made a couple of good offloads.

| Quote ="AndreaB"very enjoyable game. Effort 100% accross the park. Goal line defence much improved on last week. Offloads very effective. Morro made just 1 mistake in whole game and beat himself up trying to make up for it. Halley, tadulala, beaver, langers, sheriffe all good. Deacs much better. Overall better performance than last week. Room for improvement but looks like we're up for a hard fought run-in'" That's not what I've been told from people at the game . They said he was shocking again.

Sorry I was talking about Platt . I think Cook should be included over Platt, and I get you now! He could cover backs and pack.

Bradford were the better team today and deserved the win. However, Wire's performance was way down on our recent form, including the game at Odsal. It's no excuse but we clearly missed Mozza, Westwood and Higham, and, as even Bulls fans acknowledge, Wire are never the same without Briers, and we lost him after ten minutes. The best team won on the day, but Wire would not have won so many games recently playing like they did today.

Well I was at the game too and I was keeping an eye on him after last week.
He has some way to go yet but was much better than last week.

| Who was man of the match? Good to see two wins on the trot. Should keep Schofield in the RLW quiet. I know everyone is entitled to their opinions but his attacks on Macca are over the top.

I agree, I thought he was below par once again. Kicking execution has become so woeful its untrue.

He took a couple of big hits again and seemed to lose his way towards the end of the first half. He put a couple of straight kicks in that no one else seemed to be able to read or understand and squandered some solid possession, it looked like Rinaldi was under instruction to take over the kicking after that point. However he did have the awareness to put the drop goal over when the hooter sounded and in the second half whilst his in game kicking was still fairly dire his defense was solid and he seemed to get back into the swing of things. The fact is however that he still routinely manages to pass behind his target a couple of times a game and has slowed down (Yep Tigertot know it's hard to believe) considerably (hardly surprising given the hits he's taken).
Yesterday was hardly a new dawn, a team on their mettle would have made it far closer, but Wire's ball retention was woeful and they bombed a couple of tries other teams would have taken. However, Morrison seemed to give us some steel, Halley and Lynch were excellent, Sheriffe showed signs of growing in to his role and defensively for the most part we were better organised. Let's hope we go from strength to strength. Great to be part of a really vocal set of supporters, it looked like the team responded well to that level of support.

Morrison was superb. The Bulls really do need to get his contract extended. Halley was very dangerous too.

Makes a change. Every time I've been to Wire, they give it to Briers. Even if they've just been hammered.

| Was only joking about Grix, wasn't at the match but it sounded like we were very poor and you weren't great but made less errors and deserved to win.
I hate it when they give MOM to a home player when you have been comprehesively beaten and no one has played well. Give it to an away player or no one.

The MOM at non-televised games is chosen by the match sponsor, who is far more likely to want to meet a home player than an away one ( as the player comes to the sponsors' lounge afterwards to meet the sponsor's guests).
