I agree it will be useful to see a new combination in ther halfs as we have generally een weak there this year, but in this game against Leeds? Far from ideal.

And anyone being "glad" that Deacon is out injured????? How can you be happy that one of our players is injured ahead of such a crucial game? He hasn't been great this year, and more and more is looking like a shadow of his former self but to be happy he's injured is just not something I can understand as a Bulls fan, crazy.

If thats it then fine, I understand that sentiment even if I might not agree with it, but nothing would surprise me at the moment with some of our fans.

I've been saying from week one that a lack of creativity/threat in the halfs is one of our biggest problems and trying a new combination is a good thing.... just wish it wasnt this game as I cant see this disruption and a new pairing helping us against Burrow and McGuire. Hopefully it will, but its only blind hope and faith, not logic.

tbh i think deacon is getting towards the end of his days playing wise and he has been knocked out a few times already this season, i think a couple of weeks off would do him and bradford the world of good, i'm hoping for menzies at 6 and Jeffries at 7

Sad to say but its good news for the team at the moment IMO, as stated earlier i think Jeffries and Menzies should have run at half back.

Bring on an effective scrum half who may run at and take on a defence instead of just passing along the lines. I swear we have the least effective scrum half in Super League. As a captain he hardly leads by example. Its a shame Morro isn't about to take over but this is good news to me. Lovely bloke but not a scrum half. Never was. Never will be.

Taking Menzies out of the pack does leave us with a lack of experience there with no Morrison and maybe Sol back in his first game.
Instead of weakening one area to plug a gap just try something new with Jeffries.

He's played a hell of a lot better since the ground has been harder.

At a guess and opinion, I think we should go with Menzies.

My guess would be Langley since McNamara's previously made comment about seeing him as a future captain.

Langley was vice-vice captain last year (and captain when he was in the academy), so I'd expect him to be the skipper.
