Hello everyone!

It's been a while since our last meeting, but we now have the model rules submitted to the FSA for approval so hopefully it shouldn't be too long before we are up and running. That means we now have a few things to look at, such as bank accounts, details of membership and events, so that we can be up and running as soon as possible once we get the nod from the FSA. I propose that we hold a working group meeting next Tuesday (30th March) to discuss these issues. We'll aim for 7:30pm in the Youth Cafe, Odsal again pending permission from the Bulls.

As always, let me know if you'd like to attend the meeting but can't make this date.

Breaking news!

Our application has been accepted by the FSA and BullBuilder is now a registered trust!

And now the fun and the hard work starts. Lets hope the fans get behind us and we can do something positive for the youngsters at the club they are the future and in this day and age the way forward.

Was asked last night about what was happening with Bullbuilder, and how could people wanting to help with the Trust now get involved? He was talking about attending meetings and helping. Hopefully one of a number.

I explained about having to get the Trust registered first, and the amount of work that went into bringing that about, and that therefore the news that the FSA have - surprisingly efficiently too - registered the Trust means the waiting game is now over.

A brief mission for Mission to post something on here summarising the mission now? And what interested parties can to do?

Firstly thanks to everyone who has helped us get to this stage, as Adrian says it's difficult for anyone not involved to appreciate the work involved in getting that application together. We've now got the all clear, so I'll outline what's to be done and what people can do to help.

Firstly we need to get the board finalised (according to the new rules, that's between 6 and 12 people). That board is responsible for 'running' the trust until we have the first board elections in the off season, when roughly half of the board will be elected (the other half will be elected the following year, meaning that you are elected to the board for 2 years). Some of the things this working group need to do in the short term are:

[list- Finalise membership details[/list:u
[list- Create and print membership forms and cards[/list:u
[list- Organise launch events[/list:u
[list- Publicise the trust in the media[/list:u
Anyone interested in being part of the working group should attend the meeting on Tuesday (7:30pm, Youth Cafe, Odsal). If you can't make it but want to be on the working group let me know. We'll also be looking for people to help the board carry out it's duties - again let me know if you're interested.

What people can do to help:
[list- First and foremost, the most important thing people can do is join the trust. We'll be letting everyone know as soon as we have the bank account open and we can start accepting members. Hopefully this shouldn't be to far away now.[/list:u
[list- If you are a local business owner, could your business offer services to the trust? If so, please get in contact.[/list:u
[list- Again, if you are a local business owner, consider offering a discount to trust members. If this is something you'd be prepared to do, please get in touch and we'll contact you with more details.[/list:u
[list- Join the facebook page and/or follow us on twitter, and invite all your friends and family to do the same. This will help us demonstrate support for the trust to businesses while we are building our membership base.[/list:u
[list- We'll need help with things like signing up members on match days, helping out at events and publicity. Keep an eye out here and on the BullBuilder website and we'll ask for volunteers as and when required.[/list:u
[list- Tell your friends, your family, your workmates, and any semi-intelligent pets about the existence of the trust. One of the biggest problems faced by organisations such as this is publicity, and there you can't get much better publicity than a recommendation.[/list:u

I think I've covered most of the bases here, if anyone can think of anything else let me know and I'll add to the list. We're so nearly ready to go now. As I've said before, as soon as we are ready to go I [ihope[/i we'll be quite hard to miss and hopefully everyone will get the chance to contribute as much as they can.

As I've mentioned in the home shirts thread, how about getting a supporters trust shirt made? I know that A few trusts and ISAs have done it because the company I work for have supplied them. It would be a great way to put money into the trust, and we could have a design competition, or vote for an old shirt to be copied and keep it traditional.

I was planning on attending the meeting anyway, so I would be happy to talk about cost, and see if everyone thinks it is a good idea.

Thank you to the new people (Brett & Ray) that came along last night. I think that was the most well attended meeting we've had yet. Minutes available in the usual place.

We're getting closer and closer to being able to launch and accept memberships. For all those interested in joining, it shouldn't be long now!

Also IMO a very productive meeting and a lot of progress made, as well as LOADS of positive ideas. I'd suggest a big

It was great to attend the meeting last night and see the progress that has been made so far by a bunch of very commited people. I'm looking forward to getting more involved.

I would suggest to anyone that has been thinking of going to a meeting but as yet hasn't makes the effort to come to the next one.

For me, the more notice I get, the easier it is to juggle work and home stuff to suit!

I'll try and let everyone know as early as possible, but there's a few seperate things going on at the moment (bank account, launch event, meeting with club etc.), so we'll organise a meeting as soon as all those groups know when they'll have something to report! I'd say expect it to be in around 3 to 4 weeks from now.

As most of the actions agreed upon at the last meeting have now been carried out, I propose that we hold a meeting Tuesday 27th April to discuss. Venue TBC.
