But every time someone mentions Brough, there's some Wakefield fan on here making out like he'll never leave as he's in love with John Kear and wouldn't ever want to be without him. It's all getting a bit tiring and I'm awaiting the day when reality kicks in and he buggers off for pastures new.

This isn't aimed at all the Wakey fans, as some are fine (and from what I've seen, you are one of the decent ones), but those who I do refer to are getting a little bit repetitive now.

Where on earth have you got the impression that Wakefield Trinity spectators and supporters think that the club is important to anybody other than themselves?

My comment isn't about whether Danny Brough would consider signing for Bradford it's about the fact that Danny Brough isn't leaving Wakefield.
Therefore whether you're from St Helen's, Warrington, Wigan, Huddersfield or anywhere else you are "Dreaming" when you name Brough as a potential signing.

Pay as it terms of transfer fee???? If so then no!! We would not pay a fee for an overseas player, if any!!!

If wages then maybe, but we are operarating on a small cap and could spend more if we want to/if we have it........and are letting or losing lots of players (wilkes, snitch, martin, drew, bibey, peterson) so have lots of room to manoeuvre!!!!

When I prviously suggested he was never going to be a top SL player on Substandard they were mortally offended. I accept that there are not a lot who seem to rate him now, even to the east of Bradford.

what with mate? you are skint, and next year after the dropping gates you have had this year, you will be even more skint. you are struggling to keep the players you have got, after asking them to take pay cuts. you can't afford to replace deaks, you can't afford to replace the coach, some of your good youth is on their way out. get used to it, you are not one of the big boys now. wakey has survived for years on less than most. see how long you can, with dwindling support mate.

Loads of ozzies are under contract and still come to SL for nothing......the cap is really tight for lots of clubs down under and as a result clubs will let players leave if the have offers from SL!!

The popular answer on this forum to that rumour is "I bloody hope not."

Thorman is one of the very few players who has been explicitly denied by the club. Whether that makes him more or less likely to be signed is, of course, a matter of opinion!

I don't find the prospect of Sykes playing there that unappealing. I think he's much better there and has added a bit more dynamism to the team. Also, I think Deacon's playing better now as a result.

With a decent back line we could be a lot more destructive.
