A couple of people seem to think I've said that absolutely every interaction between all fans at away games has sickened me to my core, when I've made it clear it's a minority and it doesn't offend me, it just makes me think that surely we're better than that. So for the record, yes the majority of banter is good natured as it always has been, and I'm not saying that anyone has been shockingly badly behaved or the absurd idea we should be apologising to teams. I didn't realise I had to write a dissertation on how amazing our fans are to be able to raise a minor criticism, I thought I'd take it as read.

As you'll have read in my original post I'm all for a bit of chanting and banter. Maybe I overstated my case a little, but you'll forgive me if I don't see the wit in implying the opposition fans are inbred, especially as it seemed off the back of absolutely no provocation. Didn't hear it flipped around at Batley, but I'm hardly a fan of that either. My point is, there are surely better things to chant than that? Apparently not.

Well, so far we "incurred" this "problem" just the once, at Batley, except it's not in any way a "problem" to anybody here, nor can a crowd figure be "incurred". It might though have been the first time a club has admitted it just made up the announced attendance!

The thread is about the Batley attendance, i.e. the "total" (that is, all fans, what we call "added up"icon_wink.gif. Not how many fans we may have taken with us.

And probably in the future if we do once again have some success, then we will talk about it; I don't know where you've been, but "success" and "Bulls" haven't been seen in the same sentence for a while now. You should google our recent history. If you do find any success in recent years, please let us know. We can't.

Well I for one am glad you have only incurred this problem only once, because if it happens on a regular basis and you persist in bigging up your attendances then your fans will become the Hull KR fans of the championship, and although the Batley official admitted he got the figures wrong, was it really to the tune of 4000.

1. Despite me having ribbed you rather obviously about your previous grocer's apostrophe, you s'eem to have s'lipped another one in. 2. There's an apparent flaw in your chosen metaphor: if Hamster Chops is analagous to an infant in a pram, who has thrown his toys out, then how could said infant reach those toys, in order to be able to pick them up? I mean, it doesn't immediately make sense. Surely, it would be the person looking after the infant who would have the task of toy retrieval and return, as that would be an impossibility for the infant?
