If Gaskell doesn't go to Hudds I hope is recent number of appearances will be taken into account by any club signing him.

Latest on the Hudds 3 in League Express this week is that Huddersfield are already offering them around other clubs. Not sure if they have already arrived at the Giants but it looks like they have "signed" despite no official announcement.

Feel sorry for Ferguson is that's the case, I'm sure he will get a deal elsewhere if he chooses to.

As for Gaskell and Clough, it's surely their dream move... paid but not being played?

Agree - Ferguson deserves better. Suspect it might be too late/too expensive to offer him a 2017 deal, but it would be nice.

On Gaskell and Clough, I wonder if that attitude has gotten back to Stone, hence the deal going south.

Fergie is good enough to get another Super League gig as long as a club has room on their cap. Wakefield or Leigh would probably take him. I'd love to see him stay, but I don't think it'll happen.

Gaskell & Clough as far as I'm concerned can be out on the street begging for the way they've acted in the last couple of months.

Well the club would make sense, Rohan knows the Titans well.

I said weeks ago that I wouldn't be surprised if we went for Beau Faloon, because I didn't think AoB and Lumb would be enough cover for hooker (I'm not including Halafihi).
There was talk of Joseph covering hooker but I don't think anyone really considered that to be an ideal solution.

If this is true, I'd expect AOB to leave for a fee which of course might help pay for a debt we have agreed to settle, or possibly the barrister costs!

I don't think it means we'll be selling O'brien necessarily (unless we have to. ) but I've always felt Smith doesn't quite rate Lumb as second choice hooker YET. Hence he played Addy there to give O'brien a breather rather than Lumb. But our financial situation could mean a sale.guy7

It could have some legs us signing Mosley, he also played for the Penrith U20s (which Smith coached) side a long with Moss.I think.

Certainly sounds like he's very highly rated in the NRL. All the representative honours at junior level and also represented the indigenous all stars.

I would be happy with another hooker. If he's decent, it means we can spell two hookers in games. I don't believe Lumb is ready for regular game time yet, although he's clearly got potential. And I've mentioned before, I don't rate Halafihi at all.

As it stands right now, O'Brien getting injured would be a nightmare for us. So another decent hooker would be welcome by me. As long as it doesn't mean AOB leaving or getting put on the reserve list.

A quick google of him does seem to show him up as a bit too good for us where we are right now? But then having seen Kieren Moss play, I'd say the same about him.
