Seems like Fev going to make a big push for promotion by planning early. Hope our club starts acting now. Not overpaying for players at twilight of their career (like Monogjan) but signing our academy products, building the team round Mellor, Bates, Brook, O'brien.

Find out from our current squad who is willing to stay next year, then recruit players in their position.

Lets not wait till pre-season for half our props to jump ship. Lets ask them now and start planning.

Sammut is only on dual reg at Fev for now, not a fully fledged signing.

The RFL & BARLA have been apart as long as I can remember. RL was dying because of the lack of promotion & relegation. RL has always innovated & experimented.

When is the promotion, 2 SL Teams with go down into Championship (tier 2) and five teams from the Championship(tier 2) will go down into Championship 1(tier 3) In my eyes that is all relegation. Can we have this conversation at the end of 2015 please.

Hypothetical situation, but if we used all the SL2 cap on home grown players that would be (£1m / £40K = ) 25 players that could be SL standard. So I would expect in plan B to see a major focus on home grown, keeping what we have and getting back what we can. Leon would be my favourite tho not sure of his contract status with the Dragons.

Think he may be OCC this year but, as suggested elsewhere, I think he may well get another gig in SL - and I certainly wouldn't leave somewhere like Canet before I had to..

When Leon signed for Catalan it was 2 years with option of a 3rd year.This is his 3rd year there so he will be,unless he's already agreed to stay put, OOC at end of this year.

I haven't worked out what happens at the end of this season, apart from 2 teams look like they will go down. I doubt it will spoil my enjoyment of RL much. Tweaking of leagues won't change the quality on offer much, it will lead to the bankruptcy of some clubs, not much change there then. Until someone cracks the media nugget RL will stumble along as it has for years.

To be "happier", you'd have to be "happy" to begin with. Where the fsck would you find these happy Bulls fans? I haven't seen a happy Bulls fan in about 5 years!

No, it's not completely impossible. But I'd bet good money that if neither Bradford or London are promoted back into SL at the end of next season, as they're the one's with the parachute payments and most likely to be the ones in the mix, then you won't see any team promoted while this system is in place.

It's simply the RFL's way of bringing back P&R without really bringing it back.
