In the very recent past we've received letters from legal representatives of Telstra relating to videos of NRL games posted but not hosted here. Anything that requires any kind of legal defense kills the site irrespective of who wins, simply because of the costs involved. The policy became err on the side of caution at that point.

I don't see why it's patently obvious that organisations which fought possibly the most bitter battle for TV rights in sporting history spending hundreds of millions of AU$ in the process wouldn't then go on to defend those rights.
