I used to have one years ago but only used it once in about seven years so it sort of fell into disuse. I did think FA may have meant doing a jpeg of £25 and sending a copy - but even I can see the flaw in that plan.....

Paypal's OK, for internet transactions, the point being you don't ever give any seller any bank/credit card info. Once you have a verified account, the process of paying is very easy so I don't personally see the problem, though on eBay you can still now make many purchases through paypal without needing an account.

It's a payment option in so many online places and I always use it if it's an option. They're pretty good at sorting out disputes as well.
