Personally I found getting beat at home to Catalans & Salford and away to Quins the most embarrassing. In fact, I couldn't give a toss about the music when there are results like that.

| To be honest the OP is nonsense anyway. The Bulls' never have played the same tune after a try, whether it be Wully Bully, cotton eye Joe or any of the others that people pick out. Since the start of playing music they have always played different tracks; nine tries, nine tunes. It's clubs like Warrington and Cas with their incessant Tom Hanks, which they play after EVERY try which really I find boring, and annoying of course, 'cos it means they've scored again!

Well yes. But that's the standard around here with several trolls and numpties, some people are such whingers that they make something completely up in their heads, and then berate the Bulls for it as if it was fact.
Sadly though - at any ground in any sport - the days of letting the fans spontaneously celebrate what just happened are long gone.

| Just reading this thread yesterday gave me an interrupted night's sleep - couldn't get bloody 'cotton eye joe' out of my head
I don't know how any club can inflict this on paying supporters (pledge or no).
Woolly Bully's OK though, it has been a while since hearing it has immediately conjured up images and associated emotions of Vainikolo barging through the Leeds defensive line

We've not played it in years I don't think.
For me, it generates a unique atmosphere at Odsal, when if left to the fans it would have all the atmosphere of a Papal visit - and significantly more protesters who don't actually know what they are protesting about.

Sam the Sham?
I could have sworn (for all these years) that it was Eddie & the Hot Rods version we played at Odsal!

We played it during the Leigh cup game this year (not many were there so that's why you missed it).
Give me five minutes and find out for whose try they played it to.

Sam the Sham is the original and best version - though if we do indeed use Eddie and the Hot Rods, it's very faithful to the original and still very good.

You're right about that. I didn't even know there was another version and every time I've heard it I've assumed it was Sam the Sham.

I had it on 7" vinyl from nineteenseventyblah. I just assumed it was Eddie & the Hot Rods as it sounds just like it to me. Even the sample on itunes doesn't convince me otherwise.

Having now listened to the Eddie and the Hot Rods samples myself, I'm afraid I draw the opposite conclusion to you - none of the 4 sounds to me much like what we play at the match. The Sam the Sham version, on the other hand, sounds spot on.
