Having watched the game back on TV Kearney was getting medical attention at half time. Ddidnt really see where but thinking about it now it could well have been his hand

Briggs is definitely going to have to find some form, presume this will mean Royston to actually play at fullback rather than being mucked about and moved into the line when we're defending.

Gutted for Kearney though, he's hit some good form so far this season.

If potter doesn't think briggs is ready then southernwood should get nod on Monday. Anything but sykes at 6. Crossley in for burgess.

Wonder if hood will be tempted to get on phone to saints and pay a fee for Leon now?. Would certainly be a good but of business given injuries and Sts may be prepared to let him go for a sensible fee now they've more confidence in their kids.

Leon is defo coming back. i saw him at the game last night.

I saw him in the sandwich shop the other day too. So he must be.

Was told by a friend who knows Briggs well, that Briggs doesn't understand why MP won't pick him, and that he's told MP he doesn't wanna play in u 20s.

You can believe it or not. My friend is a rhinos fan.

PS Leon is at every odsal game when it's not same time as saints game.

I thought Briggs went well in pre-season and against Leeds, Kearney is going to be a massive miss but if it gives Briggs a chance for some game time maybe there's a silver lining to that massive thundercloud.

Its a massive blow towards are push for the top 8 but I'm sure that given game time Briggs will come good! He's an obvious talent and needs game time to prove it!

I'm holding judgement on Briggs as he's only played 120 minutes of Super League. With Kearney absent for the next 2 months I'd expect Briggs to step up and hopefully fill the void missing in the halves.

Also think Potter may give Southernwood a run out if needed.
