At the 5:30 or so mark you hear someone say "Macani is absolutely dreadful", followed shortly after by a less audible "he is black". This comes from somewhere within the chav section that this thread was jokingly made about.

When someone dared to question the unseemly chants against a ballboy, they rallied around one another by congratulating themselves on the atmosphere they generate and ignoring their inability to self-police those among them that are blatantly tuggers.

Was just about to post this. Not good. Judging by the comments, seems some fans are getting a little fed up with this group. I applaud them for trying to create an atmosphere. The swearing doesn't bother me so much, i can live with it (although you can sing chants that don't contain swearing and create a good atmosphere like we did in 2012. And i'm not talking about Come on you Bulls) But there a few incidents cropping up now. Against Batley a lone female driver had her wing mirror punched off her car while she was queuing in traffic by a group of fans who had come from the Top House.

You'd hope there'd be a bit of "self policing".

I doubt you can ever, "shame", these people with this though, as A) they simply do not recognise it as being wrong and B) feel utterly confident that all around them feel exactly the same as themselves. What 's more, they are unlikely to be disabused of this by the people around them as, sad to say, many of them do.

Unless this idiot is outed I'm not sure exactly what the club can do to be fair, certainly as far as taking any direct action is concerned. As said in the first paragraph, I doubt he will be 'outed' by his friends for all the same reasons. The club should come out and condemn it outright, of course, and IF the culprit is ever uncovered then they should be banned forthwith - or even sooner.

The kid who put the Youtube video up has now taken it down and posted an apology video. Admits it was him who said Macani was rubbish, but doesn't know who it was that gave the racist response.

She wasn't alone and secondly she had been taunting the Bradford fans about us still been bottom of the league. The snapping off the wiper blade was massively ott but she wasn't as innocent as she tried making out.

Not sure what the, 'taunting', was, but it sounds like a bit of 'banter'. Even if the, 'banter', was over the top, there is no excuse whatever for breaking the wiper blade, imo. If you can't laugh off, or come up with some response to a bit of banter then there's something wrong somewhere.

Banter is supposed to be a back and forth exchange of deprecating wit. People seem to think it actually involves a single person saying anything they like to someone else.

Agreed. Recently the word "banter" has simply become what you refer to anything from jokes to abuse, just so that it doesn't look like you've upset the person you've aimed it at. Doesn't mean how nasty or vicious the comment, if you say it's "banter", that's supposed to make it ok.

Banter is one of those modern words we now use. In the old days if you said something to somebody and caused offence you used to say "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you", now we say "It's only banter".

I think, from what has been said on here, that the abuse/banter was about the bulls still being on minus points.

To be fair, abuse and banter are largely the same, and much is in the interaction, the tone of voice, and the language used. However, if the only response your brain can come up with is to tell you to rip off a wiper blade, then, imo you are automatically in the wrong and you're definitely not the sort of person I'd want as a friend.
