I don't know if i'm just been a bit thick today but I can't find a link on the trust google pages to confirm my interest in helping the working group so i'll just post on here. following the meeting the other day I came away thinking that we can do some good for the club, but reading the threads we seam to be getting too much into detail on line at the moment rather than round a table face to face. If a date and venue is set and we sort out who needs to do what and when I'm sure we can drive this thing forward. In the words of the dragons "I'm in"

And, judging by the long thread, some have reached the same conclusion as you, i.e. a meeting, and it is to be arranged sometime soon.

That's great, any particular job you fancy doing? We're definately looking for someone to take the fundraising job at the minute, which will basically entail making sure we're in a position to accept donations for the open meeting. After the open meeting we'll probably be having a bit of a reorganisation anyway, particularly as we'll have hopefully picked up even more volunteers! But feel free to volunteer for anything else if that doesn't take your fancy.

Surely the distrbution of jobs/responsibilities etc should be the second item on the agenda at the meeting after approving the interim chair which I'm sure will go through on the nod. Once in position the teams can then work on the timetable for a general meeting a launch date and action plan.
For myself I rum a Photography studio so can throw photography ,marketing and some bussiness skills into the pot. I think every ones done great so far but lets not let this enthusiasam fizzle out we need to get a date sorted and get the trust of the ground and out of cyber space.

May I recommend the very first thing on the agenda is introducing ourselves, so we all know who is who. It also makes it a bit easier for keeping minutes when people say "Yeah I'll do that", that I don't have to keep asking who you are

Let's just see what day has most people available, maybe we just won't be able to satisfy everyone. That said if there's more than a couple of people who can't attend on each day, we'll have to look at some more dates!

I couldn't make the last one sadly, but from pure bad luck, not because of any regular engagement.

We can of course not introduce ourselves and in the minutes it can simply say something like "fat creepy bloke with the dodgy beard agreed to write to FSA"

That's the date for the NZ Q&A (as per your other post). Not sure if you'll get a room at the club so an alternate venue?

I'm fine for that Tuesday although I don't finish work until 6 that week, so don't make it TOO early lol (And I'll also be on call, but that hopefully won't affect anything).

Or should we avoid this date? Is that a good way to start relations with the club, taking bums off seats at one of their events?

Yep, Tuesday 3rd is cracking for me chaps. Got uni till half 4 so it'll be 6 when I get back, but judging from previous comments I'm guessing we won't be starting that early.

I think, in view of the fact that the Bulls are holding an event at 7:30pm on 3rd November, we should probably put the meeting back to the following week (we don't want to start off on the wrong footing with the club). Tuesday seems to be a popular day for meetings, so I'd suggest 10th Nov. What do people think?
