I can see where the speculation he might be out of favour had come from around the time of the Fev game but I don't think it's on the cards now. Fair enough Adam might have raised the value of the clause to make sure we didn't lose him for some spare change, but there will certainly be one.

Yes I would put money on Kurt H suddenly 'coming out of retirement'. Seems Mr Perez is imaginative at getting round the rules. I am surprised Mr Rowley with all his morals and integrity is allowing the early approaches and transfer fee avoidance. Oh, we know well the problems with Aus and UK contracts, don't mention a Mr Orford near Odsal... Toronto though is a different kettle of fish as they are playing in the European league.

Don't get me wrong - if he genuinely wants to go coaching and is willing to forgo his playing career then good luck to him and he'd absolutely go with my blessing, but I find the idea he'd go, and then that Toronto wouldn't look at a player of his quality and say why isn't he playing, is too much to believe. That's why I suggested letting him go but keeping his registration. They seem to be a club which is minted and we aren't so why would we let him off a two year deal to play elsewhere?

Not really sure about the training agreement - maybe it's about the numbers using the facilities which don't stack up, though, that said, we've had almost two squads in one over the last two seasons and no-one has moaned about lack of space...

They were due to announce him yesterday, but he fell over the step to the press conference desk and is now out for 10 weeks.

Bit OT but just seen a tweet from Ross Peltier who says he is just 1kg off his target weight for pre-season and has tweeted a before and after picture. He looks in decent shape.

If this guy doesn't make it, it won't be for lack of trying. Exactly kind of attitude and player we need this year.

The name is familiar, he looks like a strong runner and we certainly need some grunt in the forwards.

If this turns out to be true we could actually have a pretty mean front row next year in Joseph, Peltier and Roche. Throw in Sidlow and Kavanagh and I'd actually be happy with that pack.

C'mon Bulls.

I like the look of the team Rohan is moulding. The video of Colton Roche looks promising. He seems to run the ball in hard like Mitch Clark and keep the legs moving in the tackle. His defence in the video looks good as well, seems to be a good wrestler.

This year we have come up against some packs (Batley, Fev, London) that have been full of big, powerful and hungry forwards that don't do anything particularly fancy but get the job done. Our pack have struggled against that at times (didn't seem to want to work as hard or do the gritty stuff) and it looks like Rohan is addressing it.

Joseph looked pretty good for Wales at loose forward last week so if Rohan is looking to play him there that would leave us with Sidlow, Kavanagh, Magrin, Peltier, Roche (if signed) and Kirk as our front rows. Way happier with that than the likes of Fleming, Lauaki and Crossley. Since Kavanagh got an extended run in the team towards the back end after his injuries he started to look really good.

I think we are going to see a harder working Bulls side next year.

Any one seen that someone asked the mole on twitter about blake leary and he said it was close but fell through?
