Leon Pryce would seem the most likely target given the strong rumours at the beginning of this season. We need a chief at 7, someone to boss the team around the field and take control (this will be the most crucial signing we make). I'd like to see us sign a tough experienced forward, preferably a Prop. We need a good quality centre who can break and tackle and is sound defensively. We'll probably be looking at signing another winger also. If we can manage to bring quality into those positions we'll be much better placed to reach the play offs. Doubt we'll manage to fill all those areas with the right calibre in one off season though. We can hope though.

Like Gleeson for example?

I'd prefer someone a little more long term. He'll do alright for a bit at Hull but I doubt it'll be long before he is shipped out like at Saints, Wire and Wigan.

Leon Pryce and an out and out experianced 7, with Briggs and Herbert as cover. Trent Waterhouse or Anthony Laffranchi to tighten up the back row. A centre with a bit of speed and class, and a winger to replace Gareth Raynor.

I have no idea what Gleeson has done, as far as I am aware it was not any kind of assault was it? Thought is was a bad attitude problem. But please fill me in and I will satnd corrected.

Greg Bird was another player I seem to recall, along with Reardon.

I won't speculate on Gleeson may have done in the past or present (I expect you may well have heard rumours). But I think it is safe to say he isn't exactly a shining example of what a professional RL should be. He's been at 3 top clubs and all 3 have either sold him or got rid.

At the fans forum last season the club made the statement that we would make signings which would wet the appetite. Well one again it's looking like a case of not fulfilling on statements.

Common knowledge and actual fact as to what got him kicked out of Saints: the betting scandal with Longy. Longy got a very long ban at the time too, but we didn't kick him out.

Hence why I said 'either sold him or got rid'.
