I know i've been involved in plenty of "banter" with you over quality of our respective squads but i honestly did and still do think newton is past it if a team want top 4 every year.

Denigrating the size of the crowd and casting scorn on those who didn't turn up (on this forum) is pretty much like "shouting" into the wind. What you don't get back, nobody will notice.

I agree though 8k is probably not much more than season ticket holders plus a few other hardcore fans.

Not much in the way of revenue gained today I'd guess.

It's certainly not the best time for us to be in this position either given the amount of people who are either out of work or being asked to work less hours.

I just hope the stay aways will not stay away permanently. I'm currently debating whether I can justify the £23 entrance to Craven Park and then the other costs involved for next week!

You quoted my post, yet I did neither of those things. All I did was state that the Bulls crowd was dreadful - which by any historic objective measure, including particularly the impact on the club's cash flow (remember what Hood said at the Fans' Forum...?) it was.

And that was only in response to a suggestion that the crowd was much larger than reported.

Whether I go or not depends on my health. I am on a BIG session on Friday and expect to be very very hungover. As long as that hangover has cleared by Sunday lunchtime, I'll go to the game.

I have a habit of getting some real monster hangovers though, so I shall have to see.

Looking at the KR website, that is selling tickets at £20 a piece too. Doesn't say anything about if it's different on the day, but I'd be very surprised if it was.

I'm not, as long as we bring someone in of reasonable quality. He used to among the top few hookers in SL, he has dropped well down the order nowadays I'm afraid. Do you need a goal kicker too?

I'd be worried. There's no-one the Bulls can recruit that will be as good as Newton. Especially with the influence he has on the field.

Yep, you did indeed say that the crowd was "dreadful". I was part of that crowd and I do not consider myself to be "dreadful" nor in fact do I think that the vast majority were in any way "dreadful".

Worryingly low in numbers maybe, but each and everyone who was there wanted to be there.

I was referring to the size of the crowd. Surely that should have been bloody obvious given the context of my original post, and certainly from my reply to yours? And I'll thank you not to throw cheap insults at me.
