Leeming seems to be in and out towards back end of the season theres a thread on him on their forum. To be fair he may look to learn from someone like Woolford who have a great playing career in his position. I think he really could have stepped up this season and it is a shame we haven't had the chance to see it. When we have seen games from him like when he played 7 against fax last year its easy to see why fans have been frustrated he hasn't played. For he he should have been starting this year with George off the bench

I'm not sure, while he was still only a young lad when playing for us, he did seem to be made out of biscuits.

I would take him in a heart beat. He seemed to play really well for you in the championship last year. Didn't he do his cruciate ligaments while with you? Sadly that would be the fourth i think. But a really good player. Think his injury record may mean he has to drop down a division.

Didn't and still don't rate Donaldson. Very limited attacking game. Good grafter though but I'd rather see backrowers other two sides to their game

When I first saw that Donaldson was leaving HKR my instant reaction was, get him signed up. Then when I thought a bit about it I realised I was basing my opinion on the young player with a lot of potential that left us a few years back. Without being too unkind I don’t think he has realised that potential. I agree that he is a grafter but as has been said, his attacking game is lacking.

I’d obviously welcome him back if he did return but I would sooner see a player with some fire/aggression in their game as that is something our team currently lacks.

Donaldson would not offer anything that say Sam Hallas doesn’t already bring to the squad.

Same goes for Olbison really. He is a strong runner and hard worker but wouldn’t add anything that Garside doesn’t already bring to the team.

I suppose they are former Bradford academy products and that in itself could be said to be valuable but we shouldn’t base our recruitment on sentiment/the past.

I think Donaldson is the victim of us going with a ‘small, mobile pack’ for what feels like 50 years. In a team with a better balanced pack, he’d certainly offer energy and a change of pace. He did that even for us tbf, and in some ways i’m sorry to see him go. Seems a really good character too. However, we’ve desperately needed more physicality and aggression for a long time and he was the undersized backrower who was ooc.
