| More candidates this weeek than most games so some are really unlucky not to be included.
1. Menzies
I continue to be in awe of this guys complete range of ability and skills which were again on show. The
whole pitch is his domain for the whole of the match.
2. Godwin
Sparked the second half having the greatest effect in putting the Bulls into a winning position.
3. Lestrange.
Tough this one, but his performance at half was an eye opener

| A great team performance especially from the pack.
My choices:
Whitehead - His commitment tipified the effort put in by the park, a herculean effort.
L'Strange - His move to scrum half gave us better balance.
Menzies - His composure and class stood out a mile.
Also huge efforts from Lynch on one leg and Godwin.

I certainley was and I certainley am. IMO it's not unreasonable to offer one criticism for the poor things they do so long as they offered praise in return for the good things they do.
PLatty has certainley gained a lot of praise and rightly so recently.

| 1) Halley - I agree that everything he wanted to do didn't come off but I think his effort should be applauded. Passion and pride is everything.
2) Platt - Is this the same player who was made scape goat last year? He's definitely relishing the chance of playing in front of the england head coach every week!
3) Warlord - Sorry but after getting so lost on that break, i had to put him in..showed signs of encouragement though!

| I took so friends tonight who had never seen a game before and was very glad to see the bulls come through what could have been a disasterous first 30 minutes. I'll never forget the look my mate gave me when he was trying to work out why loads of people were chanting "beaver"!!!
My top three were:
BEAVER!!! - Awsome, nuff said!!!
Platt - Looked dangerous going forward, especially when tough in the first half
Godwin - Thought he changed the game when he came on.

| I'm astounded that so many have gone for Halley as their first choice. Four handling errors in a game is pretty shocking, and would have been punished by better opposition. Passion and pride is not everything if not correctly channelled.
Platt on the other had deserves the kudos he is receiving.

Because what he tried didn't come off. If it had, thee'd have been even n=more call for MoM. You could tell the effort and enthusiasm levels from Halley, his kick returns were great all night aswell.
Plenty of Leeds fans think McGuire's having a good season, he's top of the error count in Super League.

| I'm with Exeter on this one.
You have to give the award on what was actually achieved, rather than what might have been. As he rightly says, the errors would have been punished by a more potent side, and we'd probably have been easy 4 scores down at the break.
I had him as a contender for 3rd depite the errors, but there were others - like Platt quietly achieved more IMO.

| TBH I thought Halley was very ordinary. In fact if Kearney and Orford are both fit I'd put Kearney in at FB and leave Halley out for the Leeds game.

Unfortunately for Dave, that's what I'd do too. He was still up there with my MoM for his efforts, but Reardon Sheriffe both had good games. If Nero's out then i'd shift Reardon to centre with Halley on his wing.

McGuire has made a lot of errors, no question. However, he's also 11th top try scorer, joint 3rd on try assists, 2nd on clean breaks and 14th on metres made. His errors are being balanced by some exceptional play in other areas, other than being seen to be 'trying hard'. Calderwood was loved by Leeds fans for his efforts chasing kicks but I bet you don't rate him
Staying on topic I also thought Menzies, Godwin and Nero looked pretty good for Bradford. Worrincy was nearly at fault for one of the Wakey tries but luckily for him the attack switched in the opposite direction!

Tbh, Calderwood isn't a bad player, his kick chases were excellent and his defence running back saved Leeds a hell of a lot of tries IIRC.

Credit to the whole team for the second half display whilst people were failing. Esp mentions for Godwin and Whitehead who could have easily made my top three as well. Excellent stuff once again by the Bulls.

2 he gave to King, and justifiably so too IMO.

| I noticed Connor Murphy gave Wagga Man Of The Match in the T&A. I think he had Beaver and Whitehead down as the only other players in the Bulls side over 7 out of 10 too.
King was definitely Wakefield's best player though, I agree.

| Wagga- as already mentioned he punches well above his weight, and had a field day running at the tiring Wakey team. His best performance this year.
L'estrange-When the rest of the team was panicking in the first half he seemed to be the one doin all the talking and calming everyone down. Wasn't afraid to try things when moved into the halves.
Whitehead- Maturing as a player ridiculously quickly, and showed that he's got the balls to carry on through an injury when the team needs him to.

Bradford Badger... thanks for the table but unfortunately its been worked out incorrectly. Each vote counts individually, irrespective of 1st, 2nd or 3rd. Therefore this week Michael Platt recieved 12 votes overall and Heath L'Estrange only recieved 9. Therefore Michael Platt takes 3rd place and the final point.

Second place is taken by Wagga closely followed by Michael Platt.
1. Steve Menzies - 3pts

Brett Kearney could have extended his lead to 7pts but fails to do so. Instead it is Steve Menzies who takes advantage and takes 3rd place outright from Nick Scrutton. Wagga and Platt both add to their previous point to move themselves up the table.
1. Brett Kearney - 17pts
2. Matt Orford - 13pts
3. Steve Menzies - 12pts
4. Nick Scrutton - 9pts
5. Jamie Langley - 8pts
6. Elliot Whitehead - 7pts

Platt has shown the best way to react to fans booing you. He hasn't moaned about it, hasn't cried that they're being unfair, he's just accepted his performances weren't great and worked as hard as he can to improve them. He's done exactly what a player should do and all credit to him, as it seems like he has put an immense amount of effort into it. He deserves a lot of respect, not just for how he is now playing, but for his attitude and effort in getting to that point.
