Worried he had bad DVT a few years ago. Given the LGI is the regional CV centre now, hope its not a pulmonary embolism or anything like that. The report said the team doc had put him on a drip though, which immediately makes you think dehydration I guess. Hope for the best for him whatever it is.

LGI is the specialist place for lots of things so let's not get ahead of ourselves. Just hope he's ok and recovering.

Oh hell. Assuming it is factual - but the wording of the statement this morning implied to me it was serious. So it WAS another clot then. What terrible terrible luck for the guy. Thank God he seems to be OK, and I guess that he had a doctor at hand when it happened. Like everyone else, I desperately hope he makes as full a recovery as possible. Hopes and thoughts with him.
