Club have acted swiftly.

Credit to the club for acting so quickly once charged.

Have they really, depends on who knew about the Adult Protection Team report of April 2024, it would be difficult to imagine that the player and his associates were not interviewed in the report process, would you expect that the player could have discussed the allocations with his agent or even team mates or the club welfare officer. Is it a bit of a stretch to think that everyone at the Bulls was oblivious to the fact that player was the subject of the above report to the extent that he was retained on a two year contract extension in August 2024 some five months after the April Adult Protection Team report.

Appo maybe hasn't told the club as they weren't aware of this and the police/protection unit aren't going to tip off when an active investigation is under way.

From a purely RL view it is a big loss to the side and one who we will need to replace. Obviously massively disappointing to see a player who was held in such high regard amongst the supporter base charged with such serious offences.

There have been a few high profile NRL players going through the same and eventually ending up with no case or not guilty. So we won't know the reasoning behind the CPS decision until the court case. But its very disappointing and good on the Club for exercising the clause which is written into all modern day sports contracts, which while it looks delayed they have to wait until it becomes public by the Authorities to avoid prejudging the case and possible legal action by both sides

Even if Bradford knew about the allegations they were correct to postpone any action until he was charged in my opinion, as the CPS feel they have evidence to support a prosecution. I feel Bradford have acted professionally and responsibly in this instance.

On the playing front I don't think we need to be rushing out to get a replacement for Appo. Fulton, Gee, Waine and Peposhi are ample at the moment.

Seems that Appo had made his mind up to skip bail and flee to PNG within hours of being charged so not sure what support the club could/should have offered

It's amazing a serious offence as this and people are still trying to point score regarding clubs. What are people suggesting, that the club knew he'd been charged, bailed the country and thought "nah, hopefully we can still have a good season for us, so we'll keep paying him through December" West Yorkshire police didn't announce it until Friday despite him being out of the country for over a month. These types of crimes have a very low conviction rate. Maybe, just maybe the club were legally advised to do nothing, and try let the police do their job. Then making this info public obvious changed that.

Appo's immediate actions after his release on bail speak volumes. I hope for the victim/victims sake they drag him back to this country so they can seek justice.

I know we have 3 halfbacks, but Abdull has just left Hull before even playing a game for them in his 2nd stint. Wishful thinking but I would take him and I just love seeing the rot continue at that club.

Kebabdull is an ok player at championship level but I wouldn't sign him since we're very well stocked at halfback. Other than a winger (which will probably end up being Tindall) I think the squad is good enough now.

Good enough for what? Is the question. Wakefield haven't been replaced in this division to the same extent. So we should be looking at better than last year. Which is 1st or 2nd. I think we can target a 1895 cup final as well

I think we're good enough to finish top two and get to the final of the 1895 cup. We're significantly stronger than any time since 2015.

A trip to Wembley would be brilliant! Certainly achievable with the squad we have. Injuries will play a huge part.
