There's no point signing any good taented players because Macca knows just what to do to get them to play the worst rugby of there career.
Prime example - Godwin - At the time I thought he was a quality signing, young talented, always seemed to be attacking the line and getting in the oppositions faces. Now he looks disinterested and rarely does anything to either open up the opposition defence or even just get us rolling forwards.

I never rated Godwin all that highly tbh. Mediocre at best I would say.

I agree. He's had the same 'next big thing' tag at Wigan and Hull too. I don't think that anyone would welcome him back other than possibly Cas. Just never hit his potential.

It's not that daft he's entering the latter stages of his career is probably sick to the back teeth with his injuries. He seems settled in the area and a move to a part time club would allow him to continue playing and concentrate on his numerous business activities.
