Do we really need to bother?
If Blake and Armitage stay fit and we have Gill also
Probably sign Tindall with the Myers money.

Having 4 centres getting Tindall would make us alot more balanced, maybe a signing from Salford could also be an option as weonly need myers wage to pY for tindall

| Disappointing to lose another one, but in reality doesn't weaken us too deeply for 2025 given the signings we've made. Definitely a player for the future though, best of luck to him.

| Think it was inevitable. I think Myers will be a super centre, but we have to look where we are now. He was suspended for first 4 games so would have either had to try fight his way back in the team or wait for injuries to crop up. I'd imagine if he wasn't playing much around May time he would have made a decision not to renew his contract and left for nothing.

He had already signed for Wakefield for 2026, they were able to approach from Dec 1st.

| Myers wasnt nailed on for this season, its a shame to lose promising 3/4, but a chunk of money for a a maybe on the team sheet is good business. Was gonnan have a haaed time pushsing Blake, Armitage and Gill. Tafua will play left, Blake and Armitage will play right. Myers wasnt 1st choice and might have played less than 20 matches next season duee to our strong recruitment.

Reading the club's announcement It seems it doesn't matter who we're DR with, if we're not using him he's coming back to you. Sort of like an agreement made between the clubs for his development. He trains full-time at Trinity but if he's behind others, which he will be at his age and development, he'll continue to turn out for you on match days, a sort of win-win. Better than playing the occasional reserves game, or being out on DR at Batley, no disrespect to them mind. It doesn't read anywhere that he's going to be playing anywhere else but either Trinty or the Bjlls next season.

| Interesting to see the squad numbers released, they don’t mean everything these days but it does give an indication what Nobby’s thinking is.
Lilley has number 9 & Taufua demoted to 23..
If Lilley does play 9 then we have 4 hookers for 1 or 2 spots in the line up

The first thing i checked for.... I agree it doesn't necessarily indicate where someone will play, but does strongly suggest a different half back partnership this season.

| Lilley always looks better at hooker IMO. Noble likes big blokes punching holes down the middle for the dummy half to exploit and Lilley and Souter are great out of dummy half.
Not sure where Ott fits in. Clearly he's back up as we're bound to get injuries at halfback and need to rotate the no9s.

Not sure it is a win-win.
I'm all for players bettering themselves and have no axe to grind whatsoever with him leaving. What I'm not keen on is someone training full-time with another club with different systems and processes, then expecting to "turn out" for us seamlessly.
I'd rather give the starting shirt to some one who has trained and has been part of the club for the season.
A player turning up on match day cold like that wouldn't be fair on him, the club or the rest of the players IMO.

I don't think it's as simple as Trin don't need him so he's in the Bradford team. He's not a shoe-in by any means. I can see him floating around a bit and only the lad himself will know if that feels like a good result.

| Myers isn't getting picked by us unless we have a few injuries. I make him 4th choice behind Blake, Armitage and Gill.

| Ok. This isn't how I expected the (voluntary) Xmas shutdown of the site to restart. Never thought I'd see 2 weeks go by without anyone posting on the forum.
We've sacked Appo.
Lots of information in the public domain.
I'm not putting it up here.

| Have they really, depends on who knew about the Adult Protection Team report of April 2024, it would be difficult to imagine that the player and his associates were not interviewed in the report process, would you expect that the player could have discussed the allocations with his agent or even team mates or the club welfare officer. Is it a bit of a stretch to think that everyone at the Bulls was oblivious to the fact that player was the subject of the above report to the extent that he was retained on a two year contract extension in August 2024 some five months after the April Adult Protection Team report.

Didn't take someone long to comment without any evidence that the club knew.
Appo maybe hasn't told the club as they weren't aware of this and the police/protection unit aren't going to tip off when an active investigation is under way.

| From a purely RL view it is a big loss to the side and one who we will need to replace.
Obviously massively disappointing to see a player who was held in such high regard amongst the supporter base charged with such serious offences.

| There have been a few high profile NRL players going through the same and eventually ending up with no case or not guilty. So we won't know the reasoning behind the CPS decision until the court case.
But its very disappointing and good on the Club for exercising the clause which is written into all modern day sports contracts, which while it looks delayed they have to wait until it becomes public by the Authorities to avoid prejudging the case and possible legal action by both sides

You cant sack someone on the basis of allegations as they may be vexatious. Even if Bradford knew about the allegations they were correct to postpone any action until he was charged in my opinion, as the CPS feel they have evidence to support a prosecution. I feel Bradford have acted professionally and responsibly in this instance.
