Well a certain half back is left out, and the Bulls produce one of the most disciplined, collective and entertaining performances of the season.

I have to ask whether we found out today who has been the "bad apple" in the team this season?

Grear result, a lot will be made of Batley had one eye on Wembley (didn't make a difference to Leigh today) but we played on Monday that can have a big effect on a PT team.

I hope this is the last we have seen of Dec Patton.

I know people will look to the dropping of Patton but that performance is more than just 1 player being left out. I have been critical of Patton this year but he hasn't been the only player with inconsistent performances.

He was rightly dropped after Monday and the unforgiveable dissent and poor attitude. What happens with him moving forwards should depend on how he reacts. But I think wherever he goes next will have to accept that he is a player who will always blow hot and cold and quite often in the same match!

Nice to see some quality tries in the second half. That Appo one was great and the try at the end for Lawrence was the icing on the cake.

Some great defence too. Those tackles by Lilley to force a knock on and by Holmes in the second half shook the earth.

Since Patton landed we have been inconsistent verging on terrible, drop him and we have the performance of 2 seasons, please oh please tell me he never wears a first team jersey again.
Can't see him signing for anyone else either tbh.

Fev just remind me of a team at junior rugby who are bigger than everyone else and bully thier opponents. When they come up against a side who they can't just run over the top of, they look bang average. Even the tries they scored were just a big man running through.

Also "one eye on Wembley" narrative didn't apply to Halifax. Well played the Panthers.

No surprise we won easily. Have to smile when the team's problems can be attributed to one player without whom we would have lost more often despite his faults. Tħe weeks ahead should be interesting.

So, you weren't suprised we won easily ? Did you actually watch the Barrow match on Monday night AT HOME ? It was one of the most inept displays I've seen the team put in for some seasons. Do you know how difficult it is for ANY TEAM to win at Mount Pleasant ? Have you actually been to M.P ? Please share with us less in the know , just why you weren't suprised.
Of course the team problems are not solely "attributed to one player without whom we would have lost more often despite his faults". However, Dec has been known for blowing hot and cold for some years, and when things aren't going well for a team, a culture of petulance can be easily stirred up by individuals.
Batley are not a team to steamroll easily - especially at Mount Pleasant. They were absolutely smashed to pieces today, notwithstanding that one eye must have been on Wembley, by a rampant display from a team who played unlike the team has played for some time.
Therefore, smile indulgently at those misguided supporters who have their thoughts on the subject, and fill us in with your version of today's performance.

I did suggest in the week that if we did not win we had a problem. So no surprise then. I have been to every RL ground bar one. On other matters Bradford's management has resulted in problems of its own making which hopefully now are being resolved at last.

Seems the guy sticking up for Patton posts about Warrington quite a bit. Using the word our etc. Clearly hasn't watched enough of the Bulls as Patton is anything but a team player. Won't be missed next season
