| Quote ="DILLIGAF"Liam Harris would be a welcome addition should Milnes or Lilley be unavailable. Looking at Hull's squad, when all are fit I think there's every chance of an Adam Swift or Matty Dawson-Jones being available, as well as likes of Cameron Scott for the three quarters. You would assume likes of Faraimo, Tuimavave, Griffin, Fonua & Naulago would be ahead of them. Even after them, players like Connor Wynne and Kieran Buchanan are likely to improve our current options. Lewis Bienek may also be a possibility in the forwards.
All good players. Hull have a really good squad this year, so I think there were definitely worse options to partner with.'"
I think Swift will be ahead of Faraimo in the pecking order. Im not sure we would have re-signed him if we knew we were getting Fonua. Even as a Hull fan it's tough to know what the first choice 13 is going to be and the allocation of squad numbers makes it even harder to second guess what Radford is thinking. Its fair to say there will be some very handy players not making out 17 though.

| 4 from Hull in the squad for Sunday's Friendly. Connor Wynne, who I assume will play fullback in Pickersgill's absence. Kieran Buchanan who you would think might play in the centre spot Rhys Evans vacated. Along with Charlie Graham and Charlie Patterson-Lund, who I confess I know jack sh** about.
(Edit: Graham is apparently a winger, Patterson-Lund is a back rower)

| We had them at Doncaster, Wynne is a good full back . Buchanan is a decent player. Interesting to see how they go in the Championship.

| Well Cameron Scott & Lewis Bienek have just joined Leigh on loan, so doesn't look like we're getting those two.

So much for all the 'courting' that went into getting the dual-reg deal done! They immediately loan out better players to another team in our league
Thanks Radders

| Seriously what is the point? Go though all the trouble of setting up the dual reg only for Leigh to get their pick of the players and we get the untried kids? What a joke.

| I wouldn’t panic too much yet, it is only a friendly after all. I think there’s an argument that we should be getting our own lads ready for the season and not using dual reg in friendlies unless these lads are likely to be staying with us a while.
Be interesting to see how they go

| Clearly this weekend Radford has got his first team squad and is giving them all an equal shot before week 1. He has picked a squad of 23 but can only pick 17 so potentially there are 6 first team squad players we may get a go at. Seems like the agreement is working as expected this weekend. We get some youngsters who get a game and we get a look at them and pad out our light squad to avoid having to pick our players 3 times in Jan before the season starts and avoid the tired effect JK said affected us early last year due to the number of friendlies we played with the YC

| Leigh will be paying the wages, maybe Bradford couldn't afford to fo this, for DR I dont think you pay anything towards the players wages.
Of all the DR players Wynne is the stand out, has played a few games in SL and not looked out of place. Very quick and deceptively strong.

Not sure why you think he can he only use 17? It'll be a 'friendly' surely and he can use 30 if he really wants to.

I think he was meaning that he can only have 17 [iwhen the season starts[/i - which means that 6 of those who he picked this weekend won't be needed.
Of course, once injuries start to bite, he will need some or all of those guys - so we still probably won't see them in a Bulls shirt very often, if at all

| So is today the day the forum goes into meltdown, again, if Ethan Ryan gets named in the Dewsbury squad along with Keyes? Neither named in HKRs 21 man squad

No, because Dewsbury play tonight and their squad was named on Wednesday, and they can't make changes without losing one of their eight interchanges for each change made.

Spot on. And Dews didn't name any Dual Reg players in their 21 this week.

| Storton in the starting 13 for KR, with Minchella on the bench tonight. I know they have a couple of injuries in the back row, but I didn't expect them to be in the side already, good on them.
I expect Keyes will have a harder time considering the half options they have and I'd be surprised if he didn't play quite a bit for Dews this year.

| Ryan, Keyes and Minichella may play more for the Rams this year than HKR - Storton will soar in SL he's got it in spades.

| Well some of our reserves players have certainly put their hand up to be selected ahead of D/R players narrowly losing to an FC squad that included Kelly & Fonua. I know it was a tough off-season, but at least we managed to keep most of our promising young players who are certainly knocking on JKs door to be in the side.

...apart from the promising young players who actually made it into the side last year who we hocked off to KR to pay Chalmers bills.
