Put on some height and size too over the past year with the Bulls. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him feature in a Cup game or at least a friendly or two first! |

To be honest, I think McNally has been pretty underwhelming so far in a Bulls shirt so if allowing him to go frees up some space for further strengthening it might be a good deal for all parties. I’m sure he is a better player than we have seen though and he was named as our number 1 in the squad numbers so must have been in Kears plans for 2019.

Yep, I've already said I'm not fussed if he goes. He'll be on a wedge and missed far too much of last season.
Kear brought him back for the home game against York and he had a shocker. |

Well given that we never really saw the best of McNally I don't think we'll see that.
A fully fit McNally would've been first choice but he was never fully fit - and he might not ever be as good as he was a few years back. Pickersgill will improve as he's only young. Hitchcox has played fullback a lot in the past and could be a good choice there too.
We have options - it's not the end of the world. |
