| A few names I don't recognise in the Wire squad and few in ours who haven't been regulars. What we might have expected I guess.
My first thought was Pickersgill to partner Keyes in the halves, and Gibson at fullback with Oakes in at centre, though Garside can play also centre.

I'd personally leave Garside in the forwards as he's been very strong for us there. Instead I think its more likely that Kear will either;
- Leave Pickersgill at FB and play Keyes/Minchella in the halves; or
- Play Ryan at FB, Ricketts on the wing and Keyes/Pickersgill in the halves.
Really glad to see Bustin available as he's been in great form. Also I wouldn't be surprised to see McNally called up at late notice, although to risk him in what should be a Wire win would be a risk.
I'd go for...
Ryan
Rickett
Gibson
Oakes
Grant
Keyes
Pickersgill
Crossley
Hallas
Kirk
Garside
Minchella
Milton
Bustin
Flanagan
Johnson
Peltier
Wood and Halafihi to miss out for me.

I'll need another club to actually try it before I can demonstrate any lack of bias

I really think Halafihi has earned an extended run in the side. His performances in the centre last year have improved his overall confidence. He has this buzz about him and I genuinely believe his distribution is the best we have off the floor from acting half. Played very well this year, also in the reserve game against Wigan he played like a veteran and run the game for me

I don't disagree at all but think Flanagan's impact off the bench added to Hallas' ability to rotate into the back row (and is also a tackle machine) gives them the edge.
It;s sad that he's never had a run in the first team.

The problem lies squarely at the door of the chairman. If you allow your media manager to repeatedly do a poor job without taking action, then you're the one to blame, not the underling.

| Woeful defence on right edge so far. Gibson and Grant exposed every attack.
This is going to be a right drubbing!!!

I'm hoping for a load of faux-hand wringing and "...we can do much better..." or "...we weren't at the races on Saturday..." articles in the T&A in the forthcoming week, which will result in "...we can turn this around next week against Doncaster..." tweets, resulting a reaction for the important game next week.

Oh, that's the noise of the deluded ones who seemed to be under the impression the Bulls would get anything out of this game coming back down to earth. For a day or two...
Game was only ever about a bit of a pay day. Were never gonna win it, doesn't matter that they didn't. League matters.

| Game went exactly as I thought it would. 5-10 mins of good play and even contest. 3rd placed SL side to just complete and score a load. I'm very pleased we hung on to the end and nabbed a try. The game will have done us some good. We've lost by the same amount before when we were in SL so the score doesn't bother me. We'll take a lot from this game and might do us a lot of good for next week. All I wanted out of this week was a bit of heart in the shirt!
Onwards and upwards to Doncaster. Now we have no distractions. Focus on the league haha!

| 54-6 is pretty much what I expected.
The score can run away quickly in RL as Huddersfield found out at Saints last night, and Leeds did against Castleford last season.
Hopefully, no injuries to report and onwards to next week.

| We were saying in the pub last night that holding them to 50 would be a result. I still think that.
I didn't go but John keys probably was correct in saying the lads gave their all and after all, we are a third tier club.
I enjoyed listening to Micks enthusiasm and all of his "Gledhillisms" as he does struggle to get the correct words in the right order and gets things completely mixed up at times. The one where he said the kicker was on 3 from 2 was funny. I wonder if Mick is secretly the clubs publicity guy. Having said that he works his heart out for the game and the club so well done Mick for making the game interesting for those of us who couldn't go. Next time I can't go I will listen again with a smile on my face.

| I enjoyed the match despite the score line as it wasn’t about that today for us. Wolves there always going to win but it was about the performance against a much better quality side.
Our lads gave it everything. Flanagan and Kirk were exhausted leaving the field which shows how much they had given. The fans gave it back and were louder than the wolves fans. Although being that far ahead they didn’t need to shout too much.
Onwards to Doncaster which is a very different test and we need to be at our best. We’ve enjoyed the free hit out and enjoyed the day but now it’s back to the serious stuff and aiming for promotion.

It was exactly what Bongser expected and, indeed, predicted on the Wire forum and the same margin on yours, PW - don't tell Bongser that you're starting to trust him!!
The result of the game was not important. Next week is a different matter and Donny seemed to turn up today, especially in the first half.
Glad everyone's a bit more upbeat this season.
