Please explain?
How much is it usually in your ground on general admission? Any ideas why they have split the main stand in 2 and put prices at different rates?

The prices the bulls are charging are a joke. 23 quid to sit? It's not super league with fireworks any longer sunshine.
Do these prices go up on the day?
15 quid at cougars and 2 quid extra to sit I do believe? Reasonable?

It's not £23 to sit, it's £23 to sit in an iconic stadium. Compare that price to Old Trafford, The Emirates or Wembley and you'll agree that it is value for money.

You won't have been to all them grounds.
I guess if you look at it the other way 23 quid to see us win at odsal, bloody hell is pay 50 quid for that!!!

Yes you can't expect them free tickets like you used to get. £15 is hardly much when the same ticket at the super dome is 8 quid more.

| I wouldn't give the Cougars the steam off my p@#p, never mind pay them for the privelege of my attendance on Sunday! It's the one team I don't want to see benefit from our traveling support this year.
It runs deep between me and K Town!

| I occasionally have a browse on here Frank. If your 'red hot' predictions you constantly come out with are the same temperature as your p@$p, then not much steam will come off. How is the new RFL headquarters coming along in odsal and the Leo Group investors etc?
Anyway you're welcome over in keighley as much as we are over at your place. I suspect a loss for us is forthcoming, I can get over it, you have to get over these things being a keighley fan....in fact same for bradford eh?

| Choux choux bar just out of the station is a decent pub to all those on the train. Short walk then through victoria park to the ground. Though some will already know this living in keighley

I'll help you out with the maths, pal
£15 to stand at Cougar Park
£18 to stand at Odsal
Difference = £3
Hope that helps

| As much as the trolling was always likely to be ramped up this week with the knuckle draggers from Cougar Park frequenting this forum more. However amongst the expected braindead comments, I don't think the criticism of £23 to sit down is one to argue. The prices at Odsal this year are quite frankly ridiculous.
I appreciate some will always argue it, but they tend to be very blinkered "Bulls can do no wrong" types.

This is true, and we do appear to be more expensive than the rest of league 1.
I suspect our prices go hand in hand with the playing roster and coaching setup we have. I would love to know how much we're spending on our setup this year and I find it impossible to even try and estimate.

Without checking the figures (largely because I can't be bothered hunting it down), I seem to remember seeing a report recently saying we're more expensive than most of the Championship too (as well as all of League 1). We all get the reasons they're charging it, but it doesn't make it right (not saying you were saying it did, to clarify).

Oh Paul thanks for that. So if I want to stand under the protection of a roof it's only 18 quid? Nice one how do I buy tickets for this stand and do prices increase on the day?

| Quote ="Bullseye"I drink in Keighley regularly and there are 4 really good pubs IMO, Boltmakers, Cricketers, Red Pig and Brown Cow.
There are some that are really worth avoiding too.
As for the game itself I will probably be going despite my reluctance earlier due to the attitude of the majority of Keighley fans on this site.'"
Times have changed. Like most clubs, 99.9% of Keighley supporters are fine. Banter aside, anything else was mainly just a Caisley thing which has long since passed.
Bulls and Cougars supporters have a lot more in common these days:
- Grounds that have become rust bucket dumps due to zero investment in improvements for 20 years or whatever.
- A recent history of some "not very good" owners. (At least you've had a variety of owners/regimes to keep things interesting. We've had the one guy with the dodgy past ([urlhttp://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/4865880.Creditors_confront_telecom_boss_over_failed_deal/[/url) as the only director/owner for going on 10 years now & who has dragged us down from being a proud Championship club with 4 figure crowds to an established third tier club with only 400 and falling regular supporters left - the rest, and potential bigger backers, staying away till he's gone).
- the prospect of becoming an amateur club unless promotion is won this year and getting into the top 20 clubs by the end of 2019 season (At least you have a good chance of achieving that (and possibly being 'invited in' to the top 20 anyway)).
Whatever the result Sunday, I hope Bulls and Cougars supporters can start to respect each other a bit more and maybe push for Odsal being sold and for Bradford MDC to lead projects for new community stadiums to be built in Bradford and Keighley.

Well said Cross Hills Cougar, I can only echo that, though local rivalries being what they are I won't be holding my breath.
Best of luck for the new season and hopefully a double promotion at the end.

Somewhat re-writing history there. There were plenty enjoying us going out of business last year on your board. Well I say plenty, maybe a handful but that's a large proportion of your regular posters!
Keighley fans weren't alone, there were plenty looking gleeful in Halifax too. It was all pretty sad really that fans of both clubs took more enjoyment out of our demise than from watching their own.
Anyway, we move on.

For anyone going on Sunday, just be aware the local traffic enforcement clearly spy an opportunity to bolster their holiday funds with the prospect of a bigger than normal crowd, so just be extra careful where you park.
