BTW, I'm thinking of nominating Macbull for Sports Personality of the Year. His excellent warm-ups and try outs for April 1st have hit new heights this year and, in my view this should not go unrecognised. I was thinking of asking for him to be ennobled, or given the MBE orCBE, but had second thoughts since no-one should have the indignity of being lumped in with the sort of person who qualifies for those 'honours'.

You don't for one minute think the powers that be have taken this seriously and that is why they have rolled out Stu Fielden.

I was going to say it can't hurt getting these stars from yesteryear in, as it gives everyone a good glow just thinking about them, how good they were and how good were the teams they played in. The downside is, obviously, the contrast between then and now. On balance though, I think it's a good decision, and good on him for being involved.

At the 5:30 or so mark you hear someone say "Macani is absolutely dreadful", followed shortly after by a less audible "he is black". This comes from somewhere within the chav section that this thread was jokingly made about.

Was just about to post this. Not good. Judging by the comments, seems some fans are getting a little fed up with this group. I applaud them for trying to create an atmosphere. The swearing doesn't bother me so much, i can live with it (although you can sing chants that don't contain swearing and create a good atmosphere like we did in 2012. And i'm not talking about Come on you Bulls) But there a few incidents cropping up now. Against Batley a lone female driver had her wing mirror punched off her car while she was queuing in traffic by a group of fans who had come from the Top House.

You'd hope there'd be a bit of "self policing".
