Face of it a reasonable side with points in the backline. I'd love to hope come season start theres the possibility of signing at least one more prop and 2 back rowers'"
Can't argue with that. If we keep those lads we have a fighting chance with a few loan forwards.

| I saw the posts about Moss having a UK passport, but I've seen nothing on any of the biog sites which mention his parents/Grand parents, and as an Aussie, that's the only way it could be true so I assume Bullmania has seen some other site or has knowledge from elsewhere. Passport or not I can't imagine he's going to stay, he's far too good not to get an offer and I'd be off like a shot if I were him.
For Chissy, the same applies really, unless we get them both signed up pdq. Without both, it just makes an impossible task even more difficult.

| Is Ryan seen as more of a centre than a winger? Lad performed real good out there last season and I was really looking forward to see him getting a full season under his belt this year considering he played a considerable amount last season.
However what will be will be and if that's where we see him long term then why not give him the chance to develop there. Certainly plenty of speed between Caro, Ryan and Macani. There's young Oakes as well who looks a strapping lad it would be pretty good if we could finish up the season with some pretty decent homegrown backs.

I remembered at the time, he came over pretty much as soon as he was announced as we didn't have to worry about a Visa or anything. Just tried to find the article to back up my claim. But if you remember when we signed him, we never had to wait for a visa.

| My Team (for the time being):
1. Moss
2. Caro
3. Oakes
4. Ryan
5. Macani
6. Pryce
7. Chisholm
8. Kavanagh
9. Lumb
10. Joseph
11. Burr
12. Foster
13. Bentley
14. Keyes
15. Peltier
16. Magrin
17. Kirk
Thomas, Mendieka, Campbell, Trueman, Halafihi and Rickett being rotations.
Foster to the pack as I feel like having him in the centres leaves our pack too lightweight for my liking, having him at second-row sures this up a bit. Never thought I'd say this as long as I supported Bradford but we need Props and Second Rowers haha!
Bit depressing compared the the team we had 8 weeks ago.......

| I'd also look at getting Harvey Livett on loan from Warrington. Loose Forward and got MOM in Warrington's friendly. Could do him some good getting some gametime at Champ level! Also wouldn't mind seeing Benjamin Jullien (centre) come on loan to us from Uncle Tony in order to move Foster to the pack.

| Moss having a British passport means the visa issue may just apply to Lachlan Burr.
Mick, Ethan Ryan did play a lot of centre for the 19s. I think he’s just served his apprenticeship on the wing in the first team, a bit like Leon did 17 years ago!
We look ok for backs IMO. Unless we lose a load more players.

Id even be tempted to stick oakes in the centre and foster in the back row with bentley to the bench to spell him. Solid base for me someone like a Philbin on loan would be ideal. Kavanagh really impressed me at 13 against New Zealand and played big minutes. I'd even be tempted to look at Bailey for 12 months if finances allow

| It's not a 'load' of players I'm really worried about, tbh I don't think we will lose a lot more as most clubs are done recruiting now. So the ones we'll probably lose are the ones clubs feel are worth a bit more, that is the better ones.
Once we lose, say Chisholm, Moss, maybe Kavanagh, then we're looking pretty much a mid-table championship side, a mid table championship side with a 12 point deficit and only 23 games to make anything up [and 3 of them against HKR.
I'd agree the threequarters look good. There is no lack of skill there, but on the debit side some are very young and lacking open age experience and this is a very hard nosed, physical league. I think it might be a little unfair to expect some of them to be the 'frontline' players, duty of care and all that.

Gotta be honest, I think that's overly optimistic. Losing those 3 IMO would make us a bottom end Championship side, not mid table. There'll only be the likes of Burr, Pryce, Foster & Ryan who have any real quality.
I honestly think keeping those three you mention could be a big difference. If we lose those aswell, we're looking in a really really bad state.

A few of those being touted are, definitely very promising players, but still somewhere between a bit and quite a lot, 'undercooked', as first team squad players; Oakes, Trueman, Foster, Bentley, Keyes and Lumb are well short of experience if we're expecting them to be regular players.
Oh, my guesstimate about mid-table was intended to mean if we'd still been on zero at the kick off, on -12 we're relegation fodder, I accept that totally.

I don't disagree with you. Without a few signings, we are definitely going to be relying on some young heads to step up earlier than was probably planned before things went pear shaped.

| another hooker and a 3 forwards and we are back in business, at least competing anyway.
If we can employ a bit of Dunkirk spirit and fight against adversity we may just get there, or at least employ a bit more effort & Enthusiasm than was there at points last year.

Rather depends on which players become available, to be honest. On the very unlikely off-chance that some other club goes belly up then maybe we could get some quality from someone else's fire sale, but otherwise, I can't imagine where we're going to get the sort of quality we'd need to overcome our handicap. It's not as though we're any great attraction at the moment and who would want to sign for, what with the best will in the world, is going to be a wasted year?

I'm refraining from choosing a possible 17 until we actually have a team to support and the contracts are signed!

It does make a nice change to be discussing actual RL, teams and games, than owners debts and leases.

| If you can retain Pryce & Chisholm then you have the building blocks, although you will need cover for Pryce who needs nursing through a season.
Fingers crossed the right 'option' is taken up by the RFL re new owners although I would have thought input from the Bulls fanbase should be sought before rubber stamping.

| At this moment in time I have no doubt that we will start the season with a new owner.
All I can think about is can we keep Chisholm and Moss.
Those two plus Leon will give us and edge in the play making department over most other teams. Yes, the pack is looking thin but Rohan can and will bring new players in. Without quality halves that wouldn't matter too much as we have seen over the last two seasons. What a shame the young lad from Saints went to Cumbria. I think he could have been a decent hooker and kicker.
I am amazed Chisholm and Moss haven't gone. I wonder if Rohan has persuaded them to help him out.
Please, please let them stay and build the team around them.

| Chisholm posted "Everyone have faith" on twitter today followed by two thumbs up and a picture of a Bull. Read into that what you will. He also "liked" a couple of people's responses to today's T&A article which said he is likely to leave. The responses he "liked" were people saying it is all speculation and not to believe everything you read in the papers.
People's starting lineups that have been posted in this thread dont mention Colton Roche. He is a prop/second rower and was in the picture of all the lads training yesterday. That is one more tough, more experienced head to add to potentially add to the mix. We'd definitely need a few loans/signimgs though.
Still keeping fingers crossed and dreading reading T&A/Twitter every day in case another departure is announced.
Am I doing my sums right here:
23 regular season games = 46 points on offer.
46 minus 12 point deduction = 34 maximum points we can finish regular season on.
If we lose say 10 games (20 points) we finish on 14 points.
Bottom 2 last year finished on 11, third bottom 14 and fourth bottom 15.
That is before we consider the extra Championship Shield games and how that can change the table.
If we keep all the players listed and add a few more on loan there is no reason we can't survive. We lost 8 Championship games in the regular season last year and drew two. All of those results but for the Featherstone game came before we had both of Moss and Chisholm in the side and were playing Addy/Mathers/Haggerty/Thomas in the halves.

I hope you have lumped on because I can't see us getting relegated with any squad we manage to scramble together.
