| Can blame ferres he has assembled a good squad with what was avaible, fax if they can keep the intensity can but some pressure on the other teams, hopefully we will be focused on the 8s and this game was taken lightly but they know we are vulnerable no getting away from that

| I think anybody that assembles a squad so short of half backs must take some of the blame. Didn't we have O'Brien from Warrington on a contract and then rip it up because we're nice guys. Think there's a saying about Nice Guys coming last.

| If the SL teams get Cobb they are in for a shock no flow again and when there was they would be pulled back as to me the game seemed to be going to fast for him he's diabolical and calls for both sides where verging on game spoiling'"
Agreed, some of decisions left me bewildered but some others were spot on, too inconsistent. Poor today with the advantage rule.
But saying that I thought it was a cracking match with plenty of fire, but then I probably would think that.

| Very frustrating. First half we were woeful. We've clearly been concentrating on the middle 8's for a month now. Fax were always going to come out firing against us and we had no aggression or enthusiasm at all. Our ball rentention was amateurish.
Joe Cobb though.
He shouldn't be allowed to referee an under 10's game. Let's just say he picks his moments when to give penalties.
Feel we will be a different side come the middles with Gaskell, Mullaney, Ferguson and Sidlow back. But we need to improve our attitude significantly.
Thought Halafihi played well. Walker was awful and shouldn't get anywhere near the team for the 8's.

| It will be interesting to see how the ptb is policed in the middle 8s. 13 out of the total 28 games will see part time sides against full time / SL sides. So will it be the same as today, where there was clearly some lenience given to the speed of the ruck, or will the part time sides suddenly find themselves having to play to SL standards?

| Well that game panned out pretty much as I expected. Halifax were clearly very fired up for this match and tackled strongly for most of the match and particularly in the 1st half. For the Bulls I thought our tactics were poor or at the least the options taken by the players were. Our ball handling was terrible and our attitude didn't match that of the opposition.
2nd half was much stronger and we probably had enough position and possession to get the result. Just lacked a bit of attacking threat on the line without our playmakers in the side. Another sloppy pass that threw away game is disappointing though, especially after doing the same last weekend.
As for Cobb, well we didn't learn anything that we didn't already know about him. Let's just pray that we can avoid him Officiating many of our middle 8 games. It is just the RFL's sense of humour to appoint him for the Leigh match!!
We can forgive the players for a slack few weeks if they are now focused on giving their best in these next couple of months. That will be the true test of the players and coaching staff... COYB!

My biggest worry is that [iwe[/i come out of the game with injuries.'"

| Very poor first half. Ball retention was nil, I know it was wet, but it was wet for Halifax too. In Richard Moore they had the best forward on the pitch. Ran well, hard and aggressive. I know he had impressed, because the woman behind me was going loopy at him! The one they all love to hate when he's not on your team!

Halafihi was clueless for me offered no direction at all.

If he's going to start giving offside at goal line dropouts the game may never get out of the 10metres.

Direction? Didn't think we looked anymore organised when O'brien came on. Anyway how many sets did we complete in the first half? We just constantly defended. Can't give a team much direction if your team mates just drop the ball. Thought he tackled his nuts off Halafihi.

Think people are being a little harsh on hala.
He was sound defensively and his distribution was faultless. if he has been told to give flat passes for 1 up rugby then he is going to do that.
The only thing he doesn't offer, which AOB does is a running game. He is a little slow off the mark whereas AOB can hit the gap that markers/ A defenders leave.

| Of the team that started today there were probably 6 or 7 that will not be starting in the matches that matter. I'm not sure why the half time team talk seems to be so much better than the pre-match but its a recurring theme.
In effect we are in pre season and a match that meant little to us seemed to have a lot of significance for the opposition......fans and players. It was a good workout for several squad players and a chance to persuade Lowes of their value.
I doubt Fax will be a walkover next time but were they to win then we would deserve to be Championship again. I know we are much better than that.

| I don't know enough about the Fax squad to offer any comment other than they played well and probably desrved to win.
Fev were much better as they beat a better Bulls sideat Odsal and then look what happened to them. No rhyme or reason.

| No taking it away from us today we beat a club who have 2 to 3 times our resources so give us some credit, the Bulls team today was mostly the one who drew with Leigh last week so no excuses plus we had Ben Kaye and Ross Divorty out who are 2 of our best players all season.
Happy days for us as we have suffered over the last 17 years all the Bull mania and your Golden era while we have been in decline, hopefully not any more!

| Being sporting ... All credit to Fax they went out and played and WON !! As the saying goes "You can only play what's in front of you" Congrats and you have the braggng rights today. The new format gives teams albeit some part time, a season that can be enjoyed and who knows!! playing out of there skin and performing beyond peoples expectations anything is possible. See you in the M8's

Ok, you were missing two of your best players. We were missing our first choice halves, first choice full back, our highest scoring winger and one of our better props. Just to put things in perspective, it's still 2-1 over the season with an points difference of 23 in Bradford's favour.
But I'll guess we'll see how we go when we're at full strength with something to play for.

| I fully understand why it was such an important win for Fax. They could have got 3rd if Eagles had lost. Although we were a weakened team they were all full time so it is an important yardstick for Fax going forward, pretty much like us beating Super League team however weakened they may be.
I doubt the recent losses will have much of a negative effect on the players that didn't play and I can't see their places being under threat. We are well and truly flying under the radar.

| The true Bulls fans should have a word with the 'Fan' who had a pop at Jimmy following the game. They need to get a grip because as far as I could tell no one was promoted yesterday and some of your fringe players got a decent run. The true test is the next 10 weeks in the play offs and I get the feeling both yourselves and Leigh may be celebrating at the end, the 'Fan' will probably then say Lowes is the best coach the Bulls have ever had. Good luck for the rest of your season and hang on to your seats.

I just don't get this... I notice the official club twitter feed said the same yesterday..
What does it matter to Halifax what the Bulls do or don't achieve? Its not part of anything to do with how Halifax performs in any way..
"we have suffered over the last 17 years" - why?
It has nothing to do with the Bulls whatsoever.. strange mind set?
For any club to go forward and improve - it needs to focus on its own affairs and not keep looking round at others.
