Some players need to realise that an average effort in a game in no good at the moment, they need to put 130% into every game no matter how tired they are.

FWIW, you couldn't fault your lads' effort or commitment today. Dead and buried at 0-16 but some dumb play by us and good stuff from you turned the game. Always lacking in their 20 no ideas and we really struggled at times, I think our time is quickly running out to survive, Nas has really gone backwards and I think we improved a great deal when mullaly came on to replace him, he falls off tackles to easy and his go forward doesn't really.

It's easier to create off the back off a pack going forward and we aren't a lot of the time.

We're missing Sidlow and one other prop.

Thought your forwards were poor for the first 40 mins. We made easy yards and are pack is not the biggest.

All in all, not that bad a result over the piece. Widnes have been going well this season and it shows that we can be competitive against the mid-lower sides.

We are the only side in the league that can still strengthen in all honesty. Two or three new quality faces and we have a fighting chance.

Two things. Thought first widnes try ball was dropped over the line, think ref thought so too linesman gave it. Secondlly would like to see disallowed sam wood no try on tv. Minorman was directly in front of it and thinks it was a try.

To clarify, I never had Widnes in the frame for the drop, but similarly I don't expect them to have an impact in the play-offs either.

Well I am confident to make mid table between 7th and 10th. I am a realistic Widnes fan. It is all about the money and only cities or big Towns like Leeds,Wigan,Warrington,Saints and Hull can bring revenue for success. Bradford should do the same been a big place too. Anyway back to the game, I think you caught Widnes playing poorly, but you showed fight and could avoid the drop.
