| Scadge when Hull swallowed up Gateshead Thunder, I would guess at that time the future was looking bleak for your team, would you of been happy for the RFL to take away half your Sky money and divide it between all the other clubs
Scadge please just give me a yes or no answer, not trying to get into an arguement

| Everyone's overjoyed to have a club but we're living on the edge as proved by the wages debacle last week. Surely it's counter productive and unfair on the club employees and players to have to go through this uncertainty after last year? If we'd been given the fair share of money I suspect we'd not be in this position.

| When was the decision made that we'd be on half sky money next year?
It can't have been when Omar took over because they only decided we were in next year half way through this season.
The next club that goes belly up I hope they get this same treatment because we weren't the first and we won't be the last club to get in trouble.

| OK signed up for this for 2 years. The sharing of our money amongst the other clubs was the thing decided later IIRC.
OK has said himself that he's learnt from this episode to look after No1 if it happens to another club.

| I agree wholeheartedly with the article in League Express and it proves that we do have support out there in the RL family. Unfortunately we also have some selfish and shortsighted clubs out there that we ought to be putting under pressure to reconsider their original decision.
It seems that Omar accepted the withholding of Sky money because without it I expect the majority of SL clubs would have gladly seen us booted out the competition. But he agreed to this penalty under the belief that we were in a licensing period. The goalposts have now been moved since the original decision so it should at the very least be reviewed.
All clubs should start on a level playing field in terms of central funding otherwise it is grossly unfair on the Bulls IMO. The decision to share out our pot of money between themselves was nothing short of immoral.
If it happens again next year then I will think seriously about boycotting away games in 2014. It's not something I'd like to do but I think it's about time the fans of this great club stood up and be counted on this important issue.

| I've been thinking I wonder who in the first place thought up this ludicrous idea to share the Bulls Sky money out between all the other clubs. I'm probably same as every one else about this,it really gets me mad everytime I think about it. lets be honest we have never heard of anything like this ever before
We know the RFL are a pathetic organisation with no leadership,no backbone and simply no idea, was it them or a greedy club chairman
I think it's got to be another club, anyone know anything on this

| Didn't they have a meeting and the vote was 8-5 in favour of sharing the sky money we forfeited, as opposed to putting it into grassroots???

The idea came from a few miles down the road team plays at a former Labour leaders stadium.

Looks like we have the paper on our side to get the ludicrous decision regarding the Sky money overturned. Lets hope Omar along with the paper keep on with this until somebody sees sense(although RFL or SLE and sense don't often go in the same sentence).
Wonder how much of the 900k Omar has just put in,would of been needed if we wasn't getting robbed in the first place'"
Not only that 3 letters from Supporters were printed basically stating what ordinary fans feel about the appalling situation the Bulls find themselves in at the moment, one supporter mentioning the other item that is causing us and other clubs financial problems: ie the ludicrous fixture list that has seen just 3 home games in 14 weeks( from May 3rd to the game on the 10th August).
Yet the open letter from Graham Barwick inferred everyone at the RFL were right but the rest of us were wrong?
No matter what anyone says this situation is the most appalling travesty I have ever seen in professional sport!

It's pleasing to see neutral RL fans/journalists also recognise the injustice of the situation we're currently facing. Will the RFL grow a spine and step in and put pressure on the SL clubs who apparently have the final say?
Also, where are we in regards to re-opening the Koppy tapping up case, or has that one already been swept under the carpet?

How much do Huddersfield owe the Bulls for CK? Not one person has said how much the BULLS are expecting (genuine question). As I have said previously I and many others aren't happy about the way this was done. Nor do I agree about your money being shared around but when CK left most of the posters on here called and still call him Kopout and were happy to see a player who didn't want to play for your club leave (albeit we now know his head may have been turned).

I don't think there is a regular scale to quantify that.
The Bulls might argue that if they had put him on the market they would have expected £x for his contract.
Huddersfield might argue that they would have only paid £xx for him.
The RFL might judge that £xxx is a reasonable price.
There again, the RFL might totally bottle out as per normal.

| The RFL are in an awkward position given that they were obviously lied to by Hudders officials. Are they going to just let that slide? If they do they'll be setting an awful precedent.

The other, and I should say, far more important thing which was decided later, was to re-structure the league under a bottom goes out principle, whilst they they knew full well we were going to be hamstrung by the underfunding they'd organised, and to which we'd agreed before we knew what the rules were going to be.
Restraint of trade, constructive dismissal?? It certainly can't be right, can it?

It certainly wasn't part of what the new owners signed up to. I'd be interested to know how they voted when the league proposals were discussed. Anyone go to the forum recently and ask that?

| It would be nice to have some clarity, rather than the usual hysterical screams of incompetence & moral corruption against the RFL. What exactly are the facts behind the Bulls forfeiting half their Sky money? I have read a few times that it either agreed by or suggested by the new OK regime as a sweetener to the other clubs to allow them to remain in SL. The issue that they didn't agree to spend it on youth development is largely irrelevant as far as I am concerned as long as it stayed in the game. How many years of sacrifice was agreed? Was part of the deal that Bradford kept their squad together rather than predatory clubs picking off their players on the cheap (as a number of other clubs including Bradford have been guilty of in the past when teams have been relegated or in financial mire)?
