Not sure how Wire stand on their non-fed/quota spots, but one hypothetical situation could be if they needed to strengthen another area of the squad and needed Hodgson's quota spot to do so.

However, I still don't see any logic in such a signing if BK is staying.

The only way I could see us signing Hodgson was if it was in part exchange for one of our own players and I can’t see Warrington being interested unless it was for Kearney as he’d be a straight swap. Then again Hodgson is as good as if not better than Kearney so why bother? I’m sure there is some negotiation going on over Blythe and Evans who I hope we keep. However with Wire set to lose Carvell and Cooper and Wood rumoured to be off too I can see them wanting to hang onto Evans. As for Blythe I think that’s more likely.

OK you are not naming a name. But here is a challenge for all of you claiming you know players we are signing, but aren't naming names. PUT UP OR SHUT UP.

(a) Take ANY TWO letters of the players' first name and ANY TWO letters of his last name. In the case of DARREN LOCKYER you might (just for example) pick DA and LO
Substitute the alphabet number for each letter (A=1 ... Z=26).
Add the numbers up, to produce a total.
In the above example, D=4, A =1, L=12 and O=15. So the first part of your secret code would be 411215

(b) Take the player's date of birth. Let's say it is 10 July 1993. Total up 10 + 7 + 1993 which makes 2010

(c) Multiply both numbers. In this case 411215 X 2010 = 826542150

All you tell us is, the code number for this player is 826542150. When it is announced, you can reveal your formula, and indisputably prove you knew.
