| Cant complain at all about this team, 3rd in the league, 2nd best attack, and we have played the teams who will be fighting it our for the playoffs and we have beat them aswel as the run away leaders hudds. 35 pd behind wigan but they have played the whipping boys (salford and london), but 11pd ahead of wire not bad for a team down to the bones with injuries and a small squad.

| Very happy with today. Olbison produced some nice footwork. Scruton looks like he could be knocking on the England door this year, being immense (Although with Mcnamrara in charge it will go to a player who eas playing well 4 years a go like Gareth Carvell)
Bateman looks the real deal, i wouldn't be surprised if he plays in the WC final this year he's that good! Certainly no worse than JJB.
Still think we need Gale back or a full set of backs to get Addy away from 6, but apart from that a very very good win.

| What's also impressive is that we've kept Hull KR, the top scorers in Super League, down to just 12 points.

| Played us off the park today fellas, no complaints from me. You took advantage of us coughing up posession twice in the 1st 10 mins and never looked back. The enthusiasm shown by your pack was key and we never looked remotely interested in matching you.
Great to see Purtill come back, rapturous applause from both sets of fans. I enjoyed some good banter with some of your lot today, as it should be. Apologies for the foul mouthed oaf stood in front of me. He offended us, never mind the Bulls fans in earshot.

| Quote ="Nothus"Are we really that far from being at full strength now? As far as I can remember, we only have Gale, Platt and Evans as long term absentees. Two of those would struggle to be in the 17 anyway.
All our other injuries seem to be only minor. Hopefully we can get some bodies back just in time for the Easter schedule to screw us up again
'"
My thoughts as well. There now seems to be some extra depth with O'brien, Olbison, Addy, and Donaldson making huge improvements + the return of Bateman
With Diskin, Walker, Langley, Blythe, Platt, Gale and Evans out we still had a pretty strong team on the field today.

| The problem with the Catalan matchs is that the Bulls usually come back with a win but the Team is busted, I remember Morro getting what we thought was a career ending injury and several others were carrying heavy knocks but the Bulls still had the spirit to win, so hopefully last years loss was a blip and the wins in Perpignan continue!

| Monday mornings seem a whole lot better after a game like that. Not sure if we will be in the top four at the end of the season but for most of the game we actually looked like a team which deserves to be near the top - kept the shape well, restricted the top scoring team in the league to two tries, some nice sustained handling moves, and a good team spirit.
The only thing which was a bit disappointing was the size of the crowd, with very few away fans. After last year's crisis - small gates and the inept "fire-sale" in the store just make me hope our old friend the "cash flow" isn't a problem again.

| Can't believe what's happened to the crowds
7500 for Cas game (on sky so that didn't help)
8000 and a bit for saints game (city at wembley next day)
7800 for hull KR (no excuses)
Over 10,000 for first game against Wakie, don't think Wakie brought 4000,so where have our own fans gone
Could of had no team to support this season,we are joint second (for now) what do some people want

My first thoughts about the sale was that probably the new leisure wear had finally come in and they want to clear the decks?
As for the match, it was a good win against a side who have shown decent form recently and been scoring plenty of points. Great to see Purts back and definitely good to see some top notch performances from several players, too many to mention, which is terrific to be able to say that.
Hopefully, if our home form remains largely positive, and the weather gets a bit better/warmer the size of the crowd will take care of itself. There's no doubt, those who choose not to come are missing a treat.
