It's good we're playing Catalans because it means they just have to clear the Rooley end and close of the pop side.

The snow on top of the covers will have helped insulate the pitch against any frost and with the thermometer pushing up to a balmy 3 or 4 degrees by dinner time the roads will be alright.

Just stick a coat and some gloves on.

Hi, I work for the agency that supplies the car park marshalls for the Richard Dunns car park on match days. I've just received a call from my contact at Richard Dunns to tell me not to send the guys in today as they're not using the car park as the snow is too deep and it's highly likely they'll be accidents. He did say he's informed the Bulls and they've said they are still expecting the game to go ahead.
Just thought you'd all like to know in case any of you were relying on being able to park there.

The pitch is playable.

The problem is the car park and stadium access.

I know I am old and so my memory may not be what it was, but in the 'old days' if the pitch was fit then the match was on. I know we didn't have H&S but I am not aware of people around me falling down continously and breaking limbs willy nilly (not sure where your willy nilly is but I'm sure you can break it).

Really home the game goes ahead, as long as people are sensible with their footwear the terraces should be ok!

According to the bulls website they are not planning a pitch inspection. We can only conclude from that that that the pitch isn't an issue, so it must be terraces and access they are working on.

...and I'll think I'll wait for the pitch inspection before I put my walking boots on, but that only leaves me 2 and half hours to walk the 30 miles....

So James Child will be stood on Rooley Ave assesing the conditions at 12.30pm. Does anyone know if the Stobart lorries are in attendance at the game?

would seem club are leaving it as late as possible before confirming on or off, snow not that bad over halifax way and thaw kicked in but 3pm it can all change as temp drops etc etc..

Disappointed that the car parks closed, it's going to be tight enough getting there on time after waiting for the 12.30 pitch inspection as it is, never mind then trying to find somewhere to park.

dont see how they can only open part of terraces either with 10,000 fans at least with tickets is their enough room?

Capacity reduced to 13500. I don't think Catalans will bring over 3 and a half thousand.
