chill out everybody, if she is as wrong with her prediction this year as she was last year for us (her wild card - 6th), we will be 3rd or 4th (and Cats will 9th or 10th). and oh dear Broncos, watch out as they are her wild card this year. What is curious is for the other teams she goes into detail about ins and outs and other relevant factors in her predictions, then says nothing at all about us such getting the half back we have needed plus more backs and it being Potters 2nd year, just waffle, so you wonder what research she did. rather you don't as it was clearly nothing.

To be fair she's entitled to her view, let's be honest we're a bit biased and if the the team don't use this to do a "Kevin Sinfield" in proving her and others wrong then there's something not quite right.

Roll on the season where we can hopefully remind her of her prediction at the end of the season when we make the eight and win the challenge cup.

I asked her on twitter to take on a £10 bet. If bulls finish in top 8, i win, otherwise she wins.

So now the team better not let me down, i now have money on this season, lol.

So if Dave Woods has us to finish 11th the assumption would be that he believes we have a worse squad than the last 2 seasons where we finished 10th? either that or the teams around us have significantly improved...?

I don't believe they have and i firmly believe we have better quality in the squad than the last 2 seasons.

We will probably have the usual stuttering start to the Season, but hopefully by Easter the Squad will be more settled and good Team performances starting to take shape, by late June if the level of injuries especially to key players are low for a change I would expect the Bulls to get a winning roll on and get to the Playoffs on the back of a continuing good run, then its up to Them, Fate, rub of the green and less dodgy Reffing at key moments in the game.

Yet your happy to insult those clubs - what with your assumed superiority based on things that happened many moons ago. Get real, someone has to be tipped for bottom and you are as goo a choice as any - hurts don't it.

We finished 10th last year. This year, we've improved in both the players in the back line and the half backs.

To suggest we'll do worse with a better squad is the real insult

There is no intention of insulting the clubs mentioned, i'm basing my view on the squads available and in my opinion Bradford Bulls have a better quality of players within the squad than Wakefield, Salford, Widnes and London...Would you not agree?

Of course Rugby League is not played on paper and other things such as injuries, morale and luck need to be taken into account, still i believe to suggest we will finish bottom is silly.

Well, that depends on whether the other clubs around us have improved by the same amount or even more

FWIW I think that whole 7th through to 11th middle 'bit' of the table is going to be incredibly tight. The odd bad result, crap referring decision or even 'bounce of the ball' could determine final positions. I wouldn't be surprised to see points difference separate several teams in the congested middle of the table.

So what I'm saying is, we could actually do better than last year and still end up getting squeezed into a similar sort of position.

That said, Angela Powers talks utter drivel. We'll finish above Widnes and Salford or I'll eat my season ticket

As Bradford have got worse for the last 5 years, you got stuffed last week, other teams around you have all strengthened/got new coaches/new grounds I would say she is not too unreasonable in her predictions. To say it is an insult is ridiculous. To send abusive messages is moronic. Personally I would have you 11th, maybe 12th. Apart from yourselves & bigging London a couple of places too much I think she is spot on. Someone at the club did tell me that the whole of the RL world, apart from Red Hall, is anti-Bradford now. Particularly the bit where Powers says Bradford have some of the most loyal & passionate fans in RL is a dead give away.
