Kear didn't see enough of the ball today for me to agree with Ethan.

His positioning for the Tickle try could have been better but like I say he didn't see enough service today for me to make a reserved judgement.

I'd go against haveing Purtell in at right centre mate. Too exposed today. But then again with the Catalans Dragons having back three quarter problems he could be ok.

It's not that I think he played badly, but he's coming back from a minor injury and if he's going to play 80 minutes I think it would be best for him to train for another week, rather than be chucked in against Pryce, Menzies, Greenshields etc.

If he gets selected I won't think that it's a bad choice, i'd just like to make sure hes fully ready (although I suppose there's no point wrapping players in cotton wool)

I thought the selection of Briggs was the oddest choice, rather than the non selection of Kear.

I put Briggs/Sammut as I think 6 is where it is hardest to name someone.

We have 3 options, none of which look certain yet. But Jeffries was non existent today, and although Briggs didn't do much last week he's the one who's already had a partnership with Gale in the past.

But i'm not a coach, so it'll be interesting to see what Potter thinks by next week.
