| Worrincy - easiest question ever. I can't believe some people are asking otherwise.

| If I was being pedantic I'd point out Peacock left 6 years ago, but I'm not so I won't.

| I think the biggest loss to the club was the communal loss of common sense when they received the 'Odsal settlement' money from the council.
If we're just talking about people, I'd say Peter Deakin. For me, playerwise, it's JP for what he has been and what he still is, and Sam for what he is and his potential for the future.

| Quote ="Bullseye"Peacock IMO. When you see how he's carried the Leeds pack since 2006 and what he's achieved it was a crime to allow him to leave.'"
Yep. A coincidence that we won nothing last year when he was injured, and when he returned to full fitness we became champions again?
Peacock helps provide the platform for the rest of the team to do the fancy stuff. I'm still not convinced he'd make a big difference to the Bulls right now given the dearth in quality in other positions, but I reckon there would be fewer hammerings and more closely edged wins with him in the team.

| Well the biggest loss that had the biggest impact was the Harris case, if only we'd have one we may had had a few extra coppers lying about.
Player wise it's got to be JP
Noble you could argue spent big and rode on a crest..maybe from the other managers and the team was definitely stale at the end of his tenure
If we look where we are now (skint) and you could have one person back from those 5 years, i don't think many people wouldn't go for JP.

| Please dont shoot me down in flames for this but..................for me matt orford, the only reason i say this is as he was in the side with as much mediocrity as we have now he led us round the field and we were performing, since his injury (and subsequent dissapearance) the permormances have gone.
Dont get me wrong i love JP and what he did for us but could we honestly say in the financial state we are in he could single handedly drag the poential out of this team and put on individual match winning plays, im not so sure.
So que the

Well..................
I actually think thats a fair comment, 2009 we was just poo - and when L'Estrange, Kearney and Orford came into the fray in 2010 we did play some good stuff and could well of made the play offs if both Orford and Kearney would not of got injured - and then due to Orford leaving you're right we have had no one to control us around the park,
And i think in alot of fans eyes we look at Bradford as to say WTF has happened to us, but maybe its just that other teams have just stepped up to the mark in recent years, as oppose to when we wiped the floor with people.

No shooting down from me. It's a fair comment and far from without merit. His leaving, and in particular the manner of it, killed two seasons so it was very influential.

| Burgess was a loss but hardly relevant in terms of ambition is it? He really wanted to go to the NRL, just like Ellis (who Leeds have struggled to replace) and Luke Burgess.

You can't blame anyone for wanting to play at the highest level and that is the NRL,though I'm far from sure this was initially any sort of 'lifetime ambition' of any the Burgess brothers. It was after Sam went on tour there and was (obviously) 'tapped up' that the 'ambition' first surfaced, and as I say you can't blame the lad for having his head turned when (what's his name?) the big Aussie film star came calling. To be honest I think George and Luke just went on the back of Sam going rather than any long held 'ambition'; more a case of the opportunity presenting itself than anything else.
