Totally agree. Best to blood the youngsters vs Crusaders and Wakey. Not sure blooding players against (arguebly) the best team in Super League would be a great idea! Think this week should be about sticking with a similiar team, although I'd be tempted to drop Herbert. Bring Roytson in at FB, and Kearney up to stand off ? Although with current injuries and Whitehead banned that may be difficult. Hoping for a better performance, but that might be asking a little too much. Can Potter motivate the troops? doubt it.

I'm trying to be positive about this weeks fixture but I can't see us getting anything from this game. During the most vital 40 minutes of our season (second half against KR at home) we looked pathetic in all areas of the game and were an embarrassment. If we play anything like we did against KR we'll be dead and buried before half time.

Like I said earlier, we're playing for pride.

Bateman had a good game for the U20s on Sunday. In a losing team he was our best player imo, Sykes who also played, didn't really have the aura of a 'first teamer' in a lower grade though, odd little bits, but otherwise pretty ordinary, as the Aussies would say.

Sounds like a job for Keith Booaza. Damo could learn a lot from him.

Every single club in Super League would have resigned him had he lived in the town, been a product of their youth system, played for their team all his life, stayed connected to the club throughout his ban (unofficially of course) and agreed to sign on a reduced salary. You're saying the Bradford Bulls would have said "no thanks, we'll have Ian Sibbit"
