In all honesty, I don't remember. I was just too young in those days to remember much detail. It wasn't until my later teens that I started to really take a massive interest. Before that I attended games, but didn't pay a whole lot of attention if I'm honest

Nope. One of the many centenary season arrivals. The player in question was a Brit. Although he was quite young, as far as I know he dropped out of the game after playing for us.

Yeah he was, I can remember some girl telling me her sister went out with him back in the day when I was at Primary School. That was before we reached Wembley in 96, not sure if he was before the centenary season though.

Hodgson arrived in 1997. I don't think Joe Simpson played a competitive match for the first team. Hasan arrived in the centenary season.
